Matt Hulmes, Frankie Foster and Joel Ross were joined by Betfred ambassador Jonjo O'Neill Jr. on Episode 4 of Road To Cheltenham.
The three-time Cheltenham Festival winner provides his thoughts on Grand National hope Iroko's run behind "impressive" winner The Jukebox Man at Haydock on Saturday, and the state of play ahead of the King George at Kempton on Boxing Day after the big players all won over the weekend.
He also names the weekend winner that impressed him most - and it's not an obvious one - before discussing the return of a certain Constitution Hill in the Fighting Fifth at Newcastle this coming Saturday.
Afterwards, Matt, Frankie and Joel look back at the John Durkan and Gaelic Warrior's victory. Also, Jango Baie's triumph in the 1965 Chase and the aforementioned The Jukebox Man.
If offered a free £5 bet on the King George, who would the lads back? There's mentions for horses at 9/2, 16/1 and 20/1!
How good was Grey Dawning in the Betfair Chase? Is he a Gold Cup contender on the back of it, or did he just beat a poor field? Matt thinks one of the beaten horses being pushed out to 50/1 is an overreaction. Fascinating stuff.
And finally, the Horse In Focus this week is Gordon Elliott's Wodhooh, who showed her class in the Ascot Hurdle. Her Cheltenham claims are discussed.
All this and more, in Episode 4 of Road to Cheltenham.
