Catterick Tips: Novamay ready to score for Dods

There's an abundance of racing to enjoy on Tuesday, with five meetings taking place across the UK and Ireland.
My focus is on the action in Yorkshire - and I've come up with a few Catterick tips for consideration.
Catterick Tips - Tuesday, June 10
*odds correct at time of publication
18:10 - Stellarmasterpiece @ 4/1
With two course and distance wins on the board already, the claims of STELLARMASTERPIECE are strong and this Catterick regular can score here again for Micky Hammond.
The mare won over track and trip on second career start last year and backed that up with a good Ripon run a month later.
She went hurdling in the winter and early spring, to little avail truth be told, but soon found her mojo again back on the Flat when obliging over C&D (good) in April.
She was then second over C&D behind An Breadan Fasa a fortnight later off a mark of 60 and was not beaten far over 1m6f here on her most recent start off this mark.
Back down in trip and with first-time cheekpieces potentially going to unlock a bit more, she can go well with Aidan Brookes taking a handy 3lb off in the saddle.

18:40 - Novamay @ 5/6
Michael Dods saddles NOVAMAY in this three-year-old handicap over six-furlongs and the Mayson filly looks a real threat to her eight opponents.
Quite a few of these arrive in form, with Novamay amongst that contingent after rattling the crossbar at Ripon (6f, good) and Wetherby (5½f, good to firm) in her two starts this season.
She hadn't shown much in four starts as a juvenile last season but has clearly strengthened up over the winter.
She only found the favourite too good on her comeback, with that Tim Easterby-trained scorer obliging again next time, while Novamay then ran well again in second spot behind Atomic Mass, this time at Wetherby, when clear of the remainder.
That form is untested but, still in Class 6 company from an unchanged mark of 57, she's got strong claims of shedding the maiden tag now.

20:40 - Brother Dave each-way @ 9/1
The nightcap at Catterick is the second division of a 7f handicap with nine runners in what may be the weaker of the two heats.
Rain Cap has been hinting at a return to winning ways but a lot of water (18 starts) has gone under the bridge since he last won over C&D in the summer of 2023.
Coconut Bay is another of note but ran poorly over C&D last time and so the vote goes to BROTHER DAVE for the Ruth Carr team.
The five-year-old won twice on the all-weather at Southwell over 7f last year amid some consistent efforts in that sphere.
He was back from 384 days off at Wolverhampton over this trip last month and ran as the market hinted he might. The hold-up performer should get a good pace to aim at now and he has scope for better on only his second ever turf start.
