Bath Tips: Harris runner bids for a hat-trick on Friday

There's seven UK and Irish race meetings on offer this Friday for us to sink our teeth into, and the action at Bath has caught my eye, with a six-race card on offer.
With three selections as usual, below you will find my Bath Tips for Friday, August 1.
Bath Tips - Friday, August 1

18:30 Bath - Moe's Legacy @ 15/8
The second race of the day provides this Class 6 handicap over 5 1/2f and there are seven horses declared for this contest. The one heading here in the best form is MOE'S LEGACY for Ronald Harris' yard.
The four-year-old daughter of Havana Grey is bidding for a hat-trick of victories, having prevailed on her previous two appearances including C&D here and most recently Salisbury (5f) last week. She triumphed as the favourite on both occasions, and she's likely going to have the same label once again in this field.
The four-year-old is 3lb well in under penalty ahead of Friday's trip so she is likely to be a strong contender, and the recent success here should stand her in good stead.

19:35 Bath - Hardlass (EW) @ 11/4
Unlike Moe's Legacy, HARDLASS is still awaiting her maiden success as she is currently 0-10. She is declared for this Class 6 Stakes race over 5 1/2f, and recent form suggests a first victory may not be too far away.
She switched trainer in May from Grant Tuer to Joe Ponting, and the latter has been able to procure two second-place finishes for the three-year-old filly - the first being over C&D here in May at 28/1, while the latest came on her most recent appearance at Ffos Las (5f).
Hardlass looked unfortunate on that occasion, losing out to Son Of Astar by a nose, but it was a performance to be proud of, and connections will be hoping she can go one step further this time around.

20:05 Bath - Offiah's Boy @ 7/2
It was surprising to see OFFIAH'S BOY finish eighth of 13 at Windsor on his last outing over 1m 31/2f, the same trip the four-year-old will contest at Bath on Friday in this Class 6 handicap.
His form before that latest run had been impressive with two victories including C&D here earlier this month and Lingfield (1m 2f), and two second-place finishes at Leicester (1m 2f) and this track over 1m.
The triumph here earlier this month saw him battle hard and if he can recapture that form he poses a huge threat to the rest of the field on Friday. Trainer Joe Tickle will be hoping that Windsor was just a blip, and being back on turf where he's recently enjoyed success can spark him back into life.
