Wednesday Greyhound Tips: Trap2Line delivers his two best bets of the day

Trap2Line, our resident greyhound tipster, is back on Wednesday to deliver his two best bets from across the UK's dog tracks.

Hove and Dunstall Park are his focus today and you will find his Greyhound Tips below.

17:12 Hove - T1 (Art Riddler) @ SP

We have been off since August and have only had one trial back but ran a quick time in comparison to this afternoons runners, what I do see is the race being set up for a closer and our chasing pace is second to none and we can quickly close and lead on the run in

How I see this top grade A1 being run

T2 not the quickest into stride but we really need this runner to be over a length ahead of us going into first bend then we should gain a clear passage to open up down the back, overall form for this runner disappointing and will be an outsider today 

T3 quietly fancied last week at 6/4 but got no run at third bend and checked off, another runner that will pace up but time wise does have a bit to find and five-to-six lengths slower than us in a clean run race. 

T4 pops up on the odd occasion in the grade and is consistent in his running, always there or thereabouts in races but I can't see this one clearing the two runners on his inside and definitely not the runner on his outside. 

T5 has a 33% record in the grade 4/12 plotted up being the sole wide seed today, will 100% lead these but this helps us to have something to chase, if we do get held up then this runner could win by multiple lengths but I'm seeing us clearing the others by third bend and chasing after this rival and running her down on the run in. 

So to us in T1, we will be breaking last and probably be turning last at the first bend,  if we can pick our way through runners down the back and run a decent third bend without any trouble I do think we pick the favourite up in T5 late on in proceedings. Very solid choice.

18:26 Dunstall Park - T2 (Swift Emery) @ SP

This will be our fifth run here since track opening and our second run in this A4 grade, time wise we have a major shout and looking at today's other four dogs I would be disappointed if we couldn't open our account. 

How I see this ran panning out.

T1 key to our race entirely on Perry Barr form we lead this runner early and on split times here it looks like it will be close, if we do lead this runner our chances increase 10 fold, as for this one's form has won the last two in A6 and A5 from slow breaks and I feel we will out trap this runner and control the inside this evening. 

T3 good early pace but the draw inside this runner is crucial and we can use that to turn ahead, big prices the last two times in A4 after winning an A5 - but not for me tonight. 

T4 one quick break but he has been slowly away for the majority, not yet to break 29 seconds here and I feel it will take a time like that to win today. 

T6 plotted up on the wide outside and was running in the highest grade before Perry Barr closed in A2/A3 not so good here so far, but does have a good draw to work from the evening and if we don't fulfil our potential then this runner can pick up the pieces. 

So to us in T2, good draw and initially this will be a 100m sprint between us and T1 as to who gets to the bend in front. We have a length/length and half in hand on split times so I am confident we will turn first, we have been very consistent on times and deserve our first win here. Solid chance.
