Tuesday Greyhounds Tips: High Tyson can land victory

18:59 - Swindon T2 (Eagles Respect) @ SP

We had a troubled run last week when well fancied, tonight's race is still as difficult but we do have a better draw to lead up T1 and it can be a different result if we do that, many dangers in the race and a runner that is plotted up too.

How I see this standard open race being run

T1 - Normally slowly into stride and will edge off a touch to the middle on the run up, I'm hoping (and all form suggests this) that we lead that runner up and our chances increase greatly if we do.

T3 - Again another slow to go runner so the inside should be ours to take, normally an A3 runner and this is a big hike in class and to me will go off one of the outsiders tonight.

T4 - Poor draw for this railer and normally not that quick into stride so I see crowding on the run up and as they get to the bend here, if somehow able to get loose and not be touched could be a massive danger to us as this one has been in with some of the best and quickest four-bend runners in the country.

T5 - Horror draw for this bang railer and I feel sorry for the dogs on his inside as literally will be turning left at trap rise and boring for the inside, I can't see him clearing the runners which will mean more crowding.

T6 - Best drawn runner of the entire day, drawn for a solo outwide and will have acres of space throughout this race, I'm banking however that we turn second in behind this runner and then it will be game on, if we don't turn second or get held up then this one could win by a long way.

So to us in T2, drawn in between slow starters, we should quickly claim the rails and set after T6, we are very strong in the second half of our races so we can quickly close and be challenging by third bend, go on off the last to win the race going away. Bet of the day for me.

18:53 - Sunderland T1 (High Tyson) @ SP

We have been running back into form after our season in July, each race we are getting stronger and quicker and the grader has relented a tad and dropped us back to a D3 for the first time in a while, we have a good draw on the inner with T2 moving off and against these lesser lights she can come out on top and will be one to follow in the upcoming weeks.

How I see this D3 sprint being run:

T2 - Double figure prices the last 3 races after winning a D3, no show in a pair of D2s before again a no show back down to this level latest, overal times are a couple of lengths off a few of these runners and again will go off a big price tonight.

T3 - Runs more mid to wide on the evidence I've witness watching videos, since dropping back to two bends has been midfield on both occasions and I feel will finish in a similar position tonight.

T4 - Another grade dropper and will be one of our dangers this evening, we are drawn better than this runner and can take advantage of that, had this been run in July when this runner was in flying form I may have change me my selection but currently we are in better form and have more going for us tonight.

T5 - Very consistent on the clock and been quietly fancied each D3 run, winning one from sev but always being there or thereabouts, same again tonight.

T6 - A couple of wins recently, one on the grade and also a handicap win, time wise is a length or two behind us and T4 and I can't see him clearing at the bend and a two in 18 strike rate in the grade doesn't instil much confidence.

So to us in T1 - great draw to work from and if leading T2 early in and T3 moving off we will have lots of room to pace up and go round, we need to be in front of T4 by the bend as that runner is our main danger, but once we do that we can quicken away for a nice victory. Strong selection.
