19:25 Central Park - Headford Dane (T1) @ SP

HEADFORD DANE won the puppy derby recently and warmed up for this event by posting a rapid 28.53 trial last week.

We are drawn inside a slow starter and can quickly pace up and control this race from the front.

T2 is a strong runner over four bends and a leader over six. Tonight he's likely to be outpaced early on, but none will be finishing stronger so if the race becomes crowded then he will be dangerous.

T3 won last week and has been in good form here and at Hove. His course and distance time is eight lengths slower than ours, so will surely struggle to give us a start and a beating this evening.

T4 is an Irish raider with no real form to go off in the UK. They showed good early pace at Shelbourne, but again we are quicker on the run-up and are drawn to go round at the bend.

T5 was runner-up in a good time last week, but this is a stronger contest and I see them struggling to clear the inside runners at the bend.

T6 went deep into this year's derby. Not so good since, but this is a change of scenery and does have a good draw on the outside. If it became tight or crowded on the run-up, this runner could swoop round the field to kick clear.

Back to us in T1 - we've got a great draw and strong early pace, so can lead these by the bend and pull away to victory.

19:25 Central Park - Winner

20:18 Star Pelaw - Emily's Superstar (T3) @ SP

EMILY'S SUPERSTAR is in fantastic form, winning her last five races including four over course and distance.

I had this a match with us and T6, with our course knowledge proving the edge.

T1 was slowly away on his only six-bend run and was tailed off form that point on. Four-bend form isn't that great either, and looking back on previous efforts over course and distance he's got around five or so lengths to find on us.

T2 likes to hug the rail and this is their first try over this far. I expect them to struggle as there is nothing in her four-bend performances to suggest a step up in trip will suit.

T4 enjoyed a good win last week, but crucially we are drawn inside this runner. We are still two or three lengths quicker and it's all about the break and run to the first bend. Leading this runner is key.

T5 disappointed over course and distance last week and on overall form I can't see this runner getting involved. They'll be an outsider tonight.

T6 is our main danger. They trialled in over the sprint trip here last week to get ready for today's race. Good stayer, and this trip will suit too. Lack of course knowledge is the negative, as alluded to earlier.

We've got a good draw to lead early, and I'll be keeping an eye on where T6 turns. If he's second, it's game on - otherwise we can go on to win this in good style.

20:18 Star Pelaw - Winner
Emilys Superstar (T3)
