Friday Greyhound Tips: Two to watch from Dunstall Park and Romford

Our greyhound racing tipster Trap2Line is back on this fine Friday with another two top tips from the track.

20:13 Dunstall Park - Strike It Skye (T2) @ SP

We are currently second favourite for the entire competition and have found a winnable first round heat this evening. We trialled in a similar time to the ante-post favourite with our first look at the course and distance and we should come on for that and can quickly stamp our authority on proceedings.

T1 is a lowly grader at Hove and will do well not to finish last in this race, totally out-graded and out-pointed against this field.

T3 is an open racer who spends most of her time running at Swindon and Hove. This is the hardest race she has run for a while and we are a level above her in a clean run contest.

T4 whizzed round in a trial two runs ago, nearly breaking 28 seconds. This runner is our danger tonight but I feel we will gain first run, if we don't come away or get held up then this runner will take advantage, I'm sure.

T5 is a vacant trap.

T6 is out of sorts recently on her travels - a no show the last few weeks at Doncaster and before then running poorly at her home track of Towcester.

So to us in T2, ideal draw to lead on the rails and time ahead of T4. If we can do that and stretch on, and we can beat our 27.90 time from last week, we have exceptional middle pace to try and clear this field. 

21:28 Romford - Killmore Dancer (T3) @ SP

This first-round heat for the Champion Stakes gives us a great opportunity to get off the front and record a very quick time. There's danger on the inside but we can out trap that runner. This runner is one of my ante-post picks for winning the whole competition.

T1 has a good draw on the inside and does like it here and does run quick every so often. Also has a four-from-nine strike rate in the trap and saves all his best performances for when he is drawn red.

T2 hasn't won yet since trying 575m trip. What I don't like is this runner is slowly away and needs luck in running and it's hard to come from the back here at Romford.

T4 is very slow to go marathon runner, will be outpaced in the early stages. If the race comes together or there is crowding then this runner could take advantage late on, but I don't see that.

T5 won on 575m debut but has five-to-six lengths to find on times alone and even though it was an impressive win, this race is harder.

T6 has been running well over four bends at Yarmouth, clocking some quick times in winning. Not so good here but does have a pitch on the outside to turn handy, if others get held up then this runner could surprise a few.

So to us in T3, drawn really well on the outside and we can quickly control this race from the front. If we lead, watch the clock as I think we will easily break 35 seconds from the front.
