Greyhounds Tips - Sunday, September 28

19:58 Pelaw - T6 (Ballymac Deboss) @ SP
We were very unlucky at crucial points of last week’s course and distance debut, better drawn this evening being the sole wide seed and we can gain compensation with an impressive all the way win.
How I see this maiden open race being run:
T1 - Was a local here last year but then has moved over to Doncaster, been running well in top grade sprints over 275m, back here and a good draw on the rails tonight, if we don't lead then this one may take advantage.
T2 - No show last week on first run in this country after checking on the run from a draw further out than ideal, better drawn closer to the rails this evening but has a few lengths to find on trial form alone.
T3 - Quick win here in an A4 in September and since then was made favourite for an open race at Sunderland but a really slow break and bad crowding didn't help. A repeat of the A4 win would put this runner bang there tonight but I can't see him trapping aswell as he did then.
T4 - True middle runner, we have the edge on this one on the run up looking at split times to winning line first time, form in graded races here consistent but not quick enough for tonight's race, not for me.
T5 - Vacant
So to us in T6 - our chances increased due to vacant trap on our inside, we have excellent early pace, two quick wins over sprint trip at Sunderland recently, we will gain a better run tonight and I make us my bet of the day.

16:42 Sheffield - T5 (Keefill Rocky) @ SP
We return to course and distance for the first time since last December and we arrive here in tremendous form having won three of our last four races at Doncaster and a couple of them in quick times, so time wise we have a major shout and looking at today's field I do see a slight drop in class that we can take advantage of.
How I see this open race being run:
T1 - Was sent off even money for a similar race last week and was bumped at the first bend but I was disappointed that this one didn't show much pace after that, prior to that run had been in good form at Nottingham and does have a good draw on the rails this afternoon.
T2 - Very quick sprinter at Towcester, sub 16 second runs for fun, doesn't see out the 500m at full racing pace and again can be found wanting in the second half of this contest.
T3 - Another sprint/short four-bend runner that may show up initially but weaken in the latter stages as there are strong runners in today's contest.
T4 - Runs more middle to rails, will edge left on run up giving us some space to space up, again another sprinter stepping up in trip, could be up with leaders round first few bends.
T6 - Won for us last week with a strong running performance, weather will need to lead this runner and that will give us a better chance, if we don't lead this runner or get held up then he will take advantage of any crowding on the inner.
So to us in T5 - We should have enough room to pace up and we can either lead or turn on shoulder of leaders, our middle pace should carry us to the lead and we can kick on and win this by a few lengths. Confident choice.
