20:52 Pelaw - T1 (Glengar Lucy) @ SP

We have been hitting the bar over further (780m) the last three weeks, this step back down in distance should lead to us gaining compensation for those defeats against lesser opposition tonight and from an ace draw on the rails.

How I see this 590m six-bend open race being run:

T2 - Has been here a couple of times but has yet to break 37 seconds for course and distance and it will take a sub 37 to win tonight's race, this Central Park raider mixes both two and four bend races at her home track but has yet to get to grips with this extra distance, not for me.

T3 - This runner may put the early pace to this race, jury is still out as to whether this runner stays this far at full racing pace but running style can give us the perfect dog to aim at as we are strong running and will appreciate this tow into the race.

T4 - Vacant trap.

T5 - Decent 590m debut in September, but kept to four bends since, did have some good form over the extended four-bend trip in Ireland prior to moving to the UK and I do see this runner being second tonight.

T6 - Low grade four-bend runners whose times over this distance are a little way off us, especially both over the eight bends and this six-bend trip, may run well at a price but will be battling for second I see.

So to us on the inside, we have superior four bend and six bend form over tonight's rivals, pair that with an excellent draw on the rails and everything points to a winning run for me, we won't lead but can turn in behind T3 before staying better second lap and winning this race going away by many lengths. Solid choice.

19:58 Pelaw - T1 (Killieford Goram) @ SP

We arrive here in good form winning four of our last five races over course and distance, very consistent on the clock and have an excellent draw on the rails tonight and any repeat of a sub 36 second run should be good enough.

How I see this 590m open race being run:

T2 - We have beaten this runner the last two times winning by a couple of lengths and a length and quarter, both those were clean run races and we benefitted from being drawn inside this runner, again we have that luxury and can use our draw to rail this runner off and I do actually see us beating him again on the way to victory.

T3 - True middle runner, form and times not that great in comparison to other runners in tonight's race, had a good win on the card at Sunderland prior to two course and distance runs but has yet to land a blow here.

T4 - Used to be a very quick greyhound in younger years, came back on to the track last week for the first time since august and ran ok over the standard trip. Will probably need tonight to blow off more cobwebs and I'm a watcher rather than a backer because of that. If we could turn the clock back a couple of years this runner would probably be odds on for this race.

T5 - Runs well here but overall times are a little off us, will probably go off a big price tonight and I can't see this runner getting involved from an unfavourable draw.

T6 - Impressive six-bend debut last week when winning at 1/5 against to lesser lights, my eyes get drawn straight to winning time and that is/was over five lengths slower than us, could well improve but that is a chunk of time that needs finding, good draw on the outside however.

So to us in T1, perfect rails pitch to pace up and rail the field off at the first bend, we lead at that point we will gallop these into the ground and just basically keep pulling in front and can win this again from T2 by a few lengths. Confident choice.
