My first selection is downgraded tonight, from D3 to D4, and stepping back in trip, from four bends to two. Her previous running time of 16.50’s looks very good in the context of tonight's race.

We aren’t quickest out of the traps, but we do have good early speed once we get going. Most of these dogs struggle to break 16 seconds so I feel we have a few lengths in hand and can quickly take control of the inside and go away off the last for victory tonight.

19:39 Yarmouth - T3 (Helivesinyou) @ SP

Debut tonight for this pup. She had three trials and improved each time, especially when pitted against faster dogs.

She starts her racing life in a lowly A9, but I do feel this is a bitch that will get better with each run and climb the grades over the next few weeks, so whatever happens tonight I would definitely be putting her in my notebook to follow.

As for tonight, both T1 and T2 are often slowly away so we should get a lovely clear run early on and can control this race from the off, gaining the rails and forging clear in the inside.

T1 has been noted running-on in his races, so I can see him picking up the pieces in second, but we have the potential to improve again on our trial times and win tonight’s race comfortably.
