Wednesday Greyhound Tips: Lego can find success at Romford

1 pt 19:11 Romford – Toneitdown (T3) @ SP

Three from the London Road circuit Romford this evening on an ultra-competitive card featuring action over the four-bend 400-metre trip. At 19:11, look out for the Gemma Evans-trained railer TONEITDOWN, who lines up from T3. The November 2023 daughter of Broadstrand Bono returned to action recently following a fall in mid-March. Last time out in A11 grade, Toneitdown led on the run in and clocked 24.53, a repeat of that would make her hard to beat.

In a race lacking early pace, Toneitdown has a chance to turn with the leaders. If that happens, her natural middle gears will see her hit the front by the third bend and power clear. Distant Diana (T5) and Swift Kevin (T6) both rate as dangers and are worth including in forecast bets.

1 pt 19:44 Romford – Moaning Dolly (T6) @ SP

The A12 graded race at 19:44 can go to MOANING DOLLY, who runs from T6 for trainer Dean Childs. The wide seed was a recent winner in this company, clocking 24.96, recording a quick-away-made-all success on April 13. Tonight, if Dolly traps in best fashion and leads round she's capable of dipping below 25 seconds over this four-bend 400-metre trip at Romford and that should be good enough to take this race.

Sunnyside Ellie (T1) mixes it in A11 and A12 company, she rates as the main danger from T1. The Katie O’Flaherty-trained railer could be worth the one to chase home Dolly and looks a solid forecast mixer in the race. Young Song (T3) is a June 2024 pup with just two runs on her race card. The youngster is open to improvement, and she’s worth noting in the market.

1 pt 21:11 Romford – Lego (T1) @ SP

The third and final selection from Romford is well-drawn railer LEGO who runs from T1 in the A7 graded race at 21:11. The Dave Mullins-trained April 2023 son of Tenpin returns to action this evening following a six-week spell off the track. The recent 24.65 trial over course and distance suggests all is well and, granted a clear run, he should go close this evening.

Prior to the layoff, Lego was competitive in A5 and A6 company. The Racing Manager has eased Lego into A7 class tonight and that's a drop in grade he will surely appreciate. Seomra Oyster (T6) is plotted up as the solo wide seed and rates as the main danger. Pricey Emma (T5) won by over nine lengths last time out, clocking 24.61 in A11 company. A four-grade hike seems harsh as the March 2024 daughter of Hiya Butt looks to win again and record her fifth success at the track.
