Wednesday Greyhounds Tips: We visit Nottingham and Yarmouth

Our greyhound expert Trap2Line has cast his eye over Wednesday's action and has two selections for us - one from Nottingham this afternoon, and another who runs at Yarmouth this evening. Here's the rationale;

Today's Greyhound Odds

T6 (Harlequin Jaytee) 13:59 Nottingham

Puppy has been running well all starts here and has been getting quicker and quicker each time. Has a really good draw to work with today and if continuing his improved form can land his maiden victory in this A3.

How I see the race going - there is a lot of pace in T2 and I feel she will lead  a long way. Our overall times are quicker and I feel we can pick T2 up on the run-in.

T1 is a relatively new runner to the track and trialled in well, looks a stayer though on sectional times alone. T3 is a recent downgraded runner from A2 but the form has tailed off a bit in recent weeks and a watching brief is advised.

T4 won her last two races and the times have been good. I feel it's the main danger to us here but I think we can get first run and the cleaner run on the outside. T5 wins the odd race in the grade but this is tougher than last week so will struggle.

What I see is T2 leading, us turning handy (in front of T4) and getting first run at T2 that will be coming back to the field off the last bend; and we pick this up half-way up the run in with T4 staying on into second place.

T4 (Newinn Lotto) 20:31 Yarmouth

Lost all chance last week with a very bad stumble out of the traps, having been backed off the boards, and can gain compensation this evening with a dominant display.

This is a harder race than last week but if we can come out on terms and use our exceptional early pace we can soon put this race to bed.

How I see the race going - I make this a match between us and T2, who is better than the recent form which includes two stumbles at the start, so you can draw lines through that form, and could push us throughout this race tonight.

I do see us leading this field and if we go round in from we can stretch on for a couple of lengths victory. Our overall form is solid and we can record our second victory here since we arrived from Crayford.
