Wednesday Greyhounds Tips: Frazzles a tasty pick from Romford

Yarmouth and Romford are worth keeping an eye according to the guru himself.

Today's Greyhound Odds

20:47 Yarmouth - T2 (Puckane Sydney) @ SP

Very consistent runner over both two and four bends, but unlucky last week as got stopped at the bend when travelling well, rallied but couldn't get to the winner. Back in this A2 suits and this race sets up perfectly for us to challenge late and win going away. 

How I see this race panning out - T1 will be quickly into stride and can give us a good tow into this race, form wise is better in A3 grade than this A2 grade but like any dog relying on early pace, any trouble happening behind only enhances its chances. I do feel this runner will be second to us. No T3 runner. 

T4 has sprung a couple of surprises recently at both 7/1 and 20/1, this race is a lot stronger than he has been facing and will again go off a big price, and he does stay straight on the run up so will give us in T2 loads of early room. T5 recently won an A3 and I can tell from SP alone that it always goes off at a big price in this grade and overall times aren't quick enough so if this is a clean run race, pass. 

T6 similar breaker/form to T5 has been over eight bends so any run won't be till late, averaging 28.40 times which will be 3-4 lengths off us in T2 in a trouble-free race. So back to us, we can track the early pace in T1, loom going into the third bend and take it up off the last and power clear. Bet of the day for me. 

20:01 Romford - T3 (Bacon Frazzles) @ SP

We have been in tremendously consistent form and pitched in with some of the best open race runners at the track the past seven weeks. We have won one and ran some very quick times in the context of this evening's race and this is a big step back in grade back to S1. 

How I see tonight's race being run - T1 to me our danger on the draw and could turn prominently, has a good run from the front back in April just weakening and being picked up off the last, a repeat of that would bring her into the mix - but I do feel we will be too strong late on for this runner. 

T2 quick over four bends, but not so good over six bends so far and again will struggle tonight, could give T1 something to think about early but from races hasn't looked a true stayer and will be weakening in the second half of this race. T4 is always slowly into stride and stays on well, has form over eight bends and any move in this will be late on, imperative that we get first run on this runner and track the early pace in T1/T2. 

T5 won a couple of races recently in S3/S2 winning times are way off us and will struggle in this S1 tonight, not for me. T6 quick into stride we beat this runner latest even after trouble for us, dog doesn't stay this far at true racing pace and can help to set the race up for us, will be prominent on the outside first lap though. Back to us, we can turn handy against these and our overall pace will be too strong for this field. Max bet for me.
