Greyhound Betting Tips - Wednesday 13 May 2026
1 pt 18:37 Romford – Come On James (T4) @ SP
Solid profit yesterday at Towcester with Sonic Angel (13/8) beating Swift Delicious (6/1) with the advised forecast paying £13.47. Today we head to Romford with three selections on an ultra-competitive all-graded card.
At 18:37, COME ON JAMES looks well-drawn in T4 to turn with the pace and hit the front down the back straight. The April 2023 son of Ballymac Wild is capable of clocking around the 24.78 mark, a repeat of that would see him take this by a length or two.
Young Hoffa (T1) could be the one to take them along in the early stages and rates as the main danger. Young Youngy (T6) is often there or thereabouts at the finish and could be worth including in forecast bets at a price.
August 2024 pup, Fire Magic (T3) is worth noting in the market. She’s improving on the clock but is yet to get involved, finishing fifth in all three of her runs. Once the penny drops, she could be the type to go through the grades.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
1 pt 20:54 Romford – Drovers Violet (T4) @ SP
At 20:54 look out for DROVERS VIOLET who runs from T4 for trainer Marlene Westwood. The March 2022 daughter of Dorotas Wildcat is three from twelve in this grade and, granted a clear run, she can win again in A9 company.
Miss Manage (T1) can show pace into the corner, so it's imperative that Drovers Violet traps well and clears that rival early on. Once on the bunny Drovers Violet can skip a couple clear then it's catch me if you can.
Candy Eye (T2) will be staying on well and would be a danger to all if within striking distance at the third bend. Ten Pund (T3) was A5 class at the turn of the year and has slipped through the grades in recent weeks.
The Dave Mullins-trained railer returned to form last time out with a victory recorded in 24.69, and she's another in with a live chance in a competitive race.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
1 pt 21:46 Romford – Makeit Tessa (T5) @ SP
The third and final selection from the London Road circuit Romford this evening is MAKEIT TESSA, who lines up from T5 in the A12 graded race at 21:46.
Wide seed Tessa looks well –drawn to lead middle to wide and, if that happens, she can hit the front out of the second bend and pull clear of the chasing pack by the third bend. On the bunny, Tessa is a 25.03 performer, a repeat of that would see her take this.
Tip Top Katie is likely to prove popular from T1. The Katie O’Flaherty-trained railer is another capable of clocking around the 25-second mark over this four-bend 400-metre trip and would be a huge runner if she led round. Youngster Pupi Chulo (T3) will be staying on well and could be a good forecast mixer in the race.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
