Tuesday Greyhounds Tips: Two for tonight from Trap2Line

Trap2Line has examined Tuesday's cards closely and has two firm recommendations for us this evening - one from Sunderland, and another running at Swindon.

Today's Greyhound Odds

T2 (Ivys Holly) 20:41 Swindon @ SP

Returns here after a winning run in an open race over the sprint trip at Nottingham, back in graded action this evening, and in the lowly D3 slot.

How I see this evening's race panning out - T1 was backed into odds-on in the D4 sprint last week and duly obliged - now steps up to D3 with SPs of 16/1, 22/1, and 18/1 the last 3 times she has run in a grade this high, so it's a hard 'pass' from me.

T3 is for me again more a D4 runner than a D3, will give us lots of room on the inside by moving off on the run up, and could crowd up with T4.

T4 to me is our danger if avoiding the T3 runner on the run-up; and if doing so could challenge us off the last. T5 went off 11/10 in a similar contest last week and couldn't land a blow, but does normally run well in this grade and another that could figure if we don't run to form.

T6 has recently dropped from D2 to D3 and hasn't been in great form but could spring a surprise if anywhere near his best.

However - what I see is us quickly controlling the inside, and we can quicken away from these after the first bend. This looks an ideal opportunity to add to our win from last week.

T6 (Little Seven) 18:53 Sunderland @ SP

A welcome downgrade for us after competing and running very well at A1 level. We have our perfect box and perfect draw to work from this evening and can use both of those for a commanding victory.

How I see this race going - T1 is a slow starter, recently won an A3 but on overall times won't be fast enough to land a blow here. T2 is again a winning A3 dog but struggles to get involved once raised to A2 class, and so is not for me.

T3 is a railer who has a poor draw this evening, coming back on the card after a layoff so will need this, and the trial back was inconclusive.

T4 has good draw and will have lots of room but always seems to go off at a big price in this grade and comes up short, so it's a pass.

T5 edges more middle on the run-up and looks the main danger to us, a solid A2 runner and very consistent on times in this grade. If we fluff our lines T5 will pick up the pieces.

So back to us - very good draw, class-wise well within our compass, easiest race we have had for a while, and on times we are 2-3 lengths quicker than this field. Very confident choice.
