We're off to Central Park and Swindon for today's selections - read all about them and their chances below.
Greyhound Tips - Tuesday, April 29
19:56 Central Park - Stophers Wotsit (T4) @ SP
We have recently been downgraded to this level of D4, after running and being competitive in D3 races. However, looking back on our overall form it looks like we are too quick good for D4.
T1 is an ex-Crayford runner who has settled in well here, won a D5 a couple of runs back and has gone off the outsider in two runs at this level
T2 has been a double-figure price the last five runs which doesn't instill much confidence here.
T3 is very-well fancied recently going off favourite three out of the last five races, but they're yet to win here since arriving from Crayford. T5 another recently downgraded runner, runs his race in this grade but we have the draw advantage tonight. T6 been off a long time and fitness will likely be an issue.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
20:59 Swindon - Beora Bee (T4) @ SP
This selection took a lot of figuring out and I have had to go back as far as late 2024 when we were running over extended distances in Ireland, along with that I have been watching four-bend races of this runner and I'm confident we can take the step up in trip in our stride.
T1 last time over this far was a winning run back in February but since then hasn't been running that great in A4/A5 grade, does have a good draw on the rails though this evening.
T2 is a Perry Barr raider, and will edge left out the traps as they're a tight railer and can come together with T1.
T3 is a another tight railer - this A2 runner has good four-bend form and pace but has never been this far, so stamina will have to be taken on trust.
T5 recent arrival from the Valley, made a winning debut but in a lowly grade and this will be a much tougher test tonight.
T6 is another Valley runner, has been over this distance on home soil but that form is inconclusive. However, they do have a pitch on the outside, with being the only wide runner.
I think our pick should have some nice room to operate early with the crowding on the inside and our middle pace can take us to the lead.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
