Tuesday Greyhound Tips: Monmore, more, more, how do you like it?

After two wins out of two on Monday, our Greyhound tipster Michael Smyth (@bettingjungle), is back for more. His latest round of Greyhound tips comes from Monmore.

1 pt 15:47 Monmore - Droopys Jot (T6) @ SP

Two from two at Doncaster yesterday with Trewmount Fury and Ruffian Floss both winning in impressive fashion. Today, we head to Monmore with three selections on an ultra-competitive all-graded card. At 15:47 look out for well-drawn solo wide seed DROOPYS JOT, who lines up from T6 in the A2 graded race over the four-bend 480-metre trip at the Midlands venue.

There's plenty of pace on the rails here with Heres Buddy (T1) and Westway Macho (T2) both looking to lead round, something has to give and that could open the door for Droopys Jot out wide. The Gary Griffiths-trained performer is two from five in the grade and looks plotted up this afternoon with a vacant box on his immediate inside in T5. If Droopys Jot traps well and turns with the pace, she can hit the front out of the second bend and power clear down the back straight. Good Maverick (T4) can chase the selection home and fill the forecast spot.

1 pt 17:01 Monmore – Thru The Roof (T6) @ SP

The A4 graded race at 17:01 can go to THRU THE ROOF, who lines up from T6 for trainer Kim Billingham-Hine. In recent weeks, the March 2023 son of Pestana has run over the two-bend 264-metre trip, but this afternoon returns to a more suitable four-bend trip. Prior to the stint over the sprint trip, Thru The Roof was a solid A3 performer who also mixed it in A2 and open class company.

This represents a drop-in class and one the wide seed can exploit. The key is the break, trap well and its race on. Swift Arson (T1) has won his last two over this course and distance and would be a danger to all with a ping break. Aero Benny (T4) is the stayer in the race and could be worth including in forecast bets.

1 pt 17:37 Monmore – Beatties Casino (T2) @ SP

The third and final selection from Monmore is BEATTIES CASINO who runs from T2 in the A2 graded race at 17:37 for trainer Kim Billingham-Hine. The July 2023 son of Ballymac Cashout stays this 480-metre trip strong and even has form over the six-bend 630-metre trip at Monmore. This is all about turning in a pitch and making a move down the back straight.

If Beatties Casino is within striking distance at the third bend, he can hit the front late on and power clear of the chasing pack. Aero Aidan (T1) and Get In Line (T3) will both be looking to lead round and make all, but if they hold each other up, that could set the race up for Beatties Casino to swoop late on and claim the victory for his connections.
