1 pt 20:01 Sunderland – Bawn Dawn (T1) @ SP
Two from three yesterday with Trewmount Fury and Droopys Freebie both winning in impressive fashion at Doncaster. Today we head to Sunderland with a trio of trap one selections from the north-east venue. At 20.01 look out for BAWN DAWN, who looks well-drawn in T1 to take the A6 graded race run over the standard four-bend 450-metre trip. In recent weeks, the April 2023 son of Ballymac Best has run well but often finished second or third in A4 and A5 company.
An ease in to A6 grade helps and with a level break this evening, the Chantelle McNicholas-trained performer can get back to winning ways. Comawn Ginny (T3) is capable of dipping below 28 seconds and would be a danger to all with a ping break. Lightly raced middle seed Moulton Lily (T5) is open to improvement and enters calculations.

1 pt 20:36 Sunderland – Slamannan Villa (T1) @ SP
The A4 graded race at 20:36 can go to consistent railer SLAMANNAN VILLA, who runs from T1 for trainer Dean Blackbird. The August 2021 daughter of Laughill Blake has an impressive six from twenty-one record in this company and, with a level break and clear run, she can add to that this evening. Vegas Kemosabe (T5) looks the likely leader along with Kilwest Joss from T3, but if Slamannan Villa turns third and within striking distance, its race on down the back straight.
The selection stays very well, she will be looking to make her move at the third bend, hit the front and then pull clear of the chasing pack. Lightly raced wide seed Lisnaboy Lola (T6) is worth noting in the market. The March 2024 daughter of Ballymac Best has run twice at Sunderland following a move from Cork. She bolted up last time out and looks like the type to go through the grades in the coming weeks.

1 pt 21:28 Sunderland – Gunner Blake (T1) @ SP
The third and final selection from Sunderland is GUNNER BLAKE, who makes his Sunderland debut this evening in the A6 graded race at 21:28. The May 2024 son of The Other Kobe has moved well in course and distance trials, clocking 28.51 and 28.28 following 5.17 and 5.15 sectionals and with further improvement to come he should prove to be above this grade.
Tonight, on competitive debut, the key is the break and run into the first bend. It's imperative that Blake pings the lids, leads round and kicks a couple clear down the back straight. Monroe Milo (T2) bolted up last time out and rates as the danger, especially if he turns within striking distance. Boozed Trouble (T4) is another who could go well and is worth including in forecast bets.
