Tuesday’s Greyhounds Tips: Two to watch at Central Park & Doncaster

Grade A4 491m

Key to tonight’s race is Trap 3 and his early pace as that will give us lots of room to operate, we have been in better A4’s than this and this race tonight is kind of a downgrade within a grade. Even though we haven’t won for a month we have been holding our form well.

Tonight I see the race as follows, Trap 3 is your guaranteed leader but the wheels fall off him coming off the last bend and I believe the race falls around us (Trap 4) and Trap 2.

I do feel as drawn though we will get the better run throughout as we have more early pace than Trap 5 and stay on strongly having winning form over the 664m trip. I do see us picking Trap 3 up off the last and winning the race going away.

T4 (Colliers Brynner) 19:14 Doncaster @ SP

Grade A1 483m

We take a step back in grade this evening from open class to an A1, trialled again last week due to suffering a very troubled passage in our last open race. We have recently stepped up from the 450m trip to this 483m distance, tonight’s field is good but not the quality we have been in against.

How I see tonight’s race going, key for us that both our main dangers Trap 3 and Trap 6 are both slowly into stride. We have better early pace and with this extended run to the bend we can use our pace to clear this field, we had a trial of 29.49 which is more than quick enough to win this race by a couple of lengths so I do see us making all.
