Tuesday Greyhound Tips: Do you want some more from Monmore?

It's Tuesday and our resident Greyhound tipster Michael Smyth (@bettingjungle) is here to drop knowledge on you. Monmore is on the radar today as he racks up three tips from today's racing.

1 pt 15:47 Monmore – Fourpenny Jack (T2) @ SP

Two from three at Doncaster yesterday with Shackleton Ace and Good Berry both winning in impressive fashion. Today, we head to Monmore with three selections on a competitive graded card from the Midlands venue. At 15:47 in the A10 graded race over the standard four-bend 480-metre trip, look out for well-drawn railer FOURPENNY JACK from T2. The January 2024 son of Good Cody is lightly raced with just fourteen runs on his card, including two wins in sprint races.

Yet to break his four-bend maiden tag, Jack looks to have a great opportunity to do just that this afternoon. In a race full of early paced types, it's imperative that Fourpenny Jack pings the lids and leads round. Glenside Flo (T1) is a consistent Monmore performer and rates as the main danger. Emerald Sarah (T4) is capable of a ping break and would be a danger to all with a soft lead.

1 pt 16:24 Monmore – Whyaye Dubai (T5) @ SP

The D2 graded sprint at 16:24 over the two-bend 264-metre trip looks competitive, but the eyes are drawn to August 2024 youngster WHYAYE DUBAI, who bolted up last time out in D4 company, winning by over seven lengths in 15.61. That was a marked step forward for the son of Dromana Bucko and granted a clear run this afternoon he can win again and win back-to-back sprint races.

Mr Brightside (T6) looks well-drawn as the solo wide seed in the race and is sure to attract support. The Chris Fereday-trained runner is often there or thereabouts at the finish and could be worth including in forecast bets. Lightly raced Vixons Vanilla (T3) has won two of her last three and has live claims in a very open race.

1 pt 17:57 Monmore – Bang On Molly (T5) @ SP

The third and final selection from Monmore this afternoon is BANG ON MOLLY, who lines up from T5 in the A4 graded race at 17:57 for trainer Nathan Hunt. There's plenty of early pace here, with Swift Arson (T1), Ballymac Dixie (T2), Westway Hitman (T4) and Aero Dulcie (T6) all looking to lead round, and it could be set up for Molly to swoop late on and pick them all up.

The key to the race will be what happens down the back straight and at the third bend. Molly will be flying at that point and attempting to get within striking distance. If Molly is within two lengths at the third bend its race on. Swift Arson (T1) looks the most likely race leader and could be the forecast mixer in the race.
