Tuesday Greyhound Tips: Towcester pops up with three hot tips

1 pt 18:59 Towcester – Sonic Angel (T4) @ SP

Three from Towcester this evening on a competitive card featuring action over two and four-bend distances. At 18:59 look out for SONIC ANGEL, who lines up from T4 in the A8 graded race over the standard four-bend 500-metre trip. The Stephen Rayner-trained railer has caught the eye a number of times recently, showing nice pace throughout but often finding one too good.

Tonight, in a race lacking early pace, the November 2023 daughter of Dorotas Wildcat has a chance to lead round. If that happens, she will prove very hard to beat. As ever, the key is the break and run into the first bend, get it right at the boxes and its race on. Ballymac Kenzie rates as the main danger from T1. Swift Delicious (T2) has form over further, she’ll be flying home and could be worth including in forecast bets at a price.

1 pt 19:33 Towcester – Choices Range (T2) @ SP

At 19:33, CHOICES RANGE looks a solid play when the Jean Liles-trained railer lines up from T2 in the D4 graded sprint over the two-bend 270-metre trip at Towcester. Choices Range was off the track in March lame but has returned to action recently with a D5 win at 4/7 and then finished second last time out in this grade, clocking 16.62. That time reads well against today's opposition, and, with a ping break, the September 2023 son of Signet Ace can lead round and make all to record his fourth win at the track.

Drumcrow Maverik (T6) bolted up in D5 company last time out, causing a shock at 8/1. The solo wide seed looks well-drawn this evening and could go well again at a price. Former Oxford-based performer Cuile Live Cross (T1) is worth noting in the market. Three recent runs around Towcester would have blown away the cobwebs, and he should be hitting peak fitness now and ready to win.

1 pt 20:41 Towcester – Ballymac Mist (T5) @ SP

The third and final selection from Towcester this evening is BALLYMAC MIST who runs from T5 in the A4 graded race at 20:41. The Heather Dimmock-trained runner caught the eye last time out on what was only her third run since February following a move from Star Pelaw. Last week, over course and distance, Ballymac Mist showed nice early pace but was caught late on by a strong stayer. Ballymac Mist will strip fitter for that run, and she will prove hard to beat if she leads round this evening.

The key to the race is clearing Greencroft Jenga (T3) at lid rise, that rival can also pop out and has plenty of early pace. Trumpers Derek (T1) is a consistent A4 performer with a two from three record in the grade, he’s worth including in forecast bets. Look out for November 2024 youngster Fabulous Rey (T2) on four-bend debut. The market will prove the best guide about the Laurance Tuffin-trained runner.
