T2 (Baggios Emoski) 19:49 Swindon @ SP

We return to the graded scene after competing in two open races. Back in calmer waters tonight where we boast a record of 2/3 and a 66% win ratio when running in A3 races which is an excellent return. We can add to those stats with a strong running performance this evening from a favourable make up.

T1 will hopefully set the race up for us by leading us out and giving us a good running lane round the first few bends. Form wise does struggle in this class and prefers A4 grade.

T3 is quite unpredictable early on. One day he will ping out and the next day miss the break, so you never know what is going to happen until the traps go up. Did win in this grade two runs back and ran well when upped to A2 last week. I think we are stronger and more consistent than this runner but if he does ping it then this dog may be difficult to reel back in.

T4 is a pretty new recruit to the circuit and only has trials to view. Ex-Shelbourne Park runner so always has to be watched on debut. But her trials didn't stand out and is best watched tonight.

T5 is a true middle runner and is winless from three races in the grade. Has gone off favourite the last twice in the grade so trainer and owners expected more from her. To me I can't see her getting involved this evening.

T6 has a really good draw on the outside for this early paced type. What you see is what you get, level break and pace for the first three bends of the contest. There are strong runners in this and this runner can and will be picked up in the second half of this contest.

So to us in T2, good draw to follow pace and we are strong having form over six bends. We can come through late on and win this race going away. Confident choice.

This is our debut tonight but I like what I have seen in practice in trials. I have been waiting for this runner to hit the track. We have been getting quicker each trial and in the final two outings we have broken 30 seconds. In the context of tonight's race a sub-30 second run will be needed to land this contest.

T1 has been dropping through the grades but does boast a 1/2, 50% strike rate in the grade. Since coming back on to the card his form has been poor and an overall record of 4 out of 25 over course and distance doesn't inspire much confidence. I do see this runner going off a big price.

T2 is very quick when given racing room and does stay on very strongly. Mixes both four and six bend races so if the race gets held up this runner can come through late on. Since coming back on to the card for the first time since early August, hasn't really shown much pace and will be getting fitter each run. May run well at a price but you could also see this runner being held up by T1.

T3 is one from four over four bends. What concerns me most is this runner's final times. T3 is a few lengths off these runners in a clear run contest and to me will struggle, having been upped in grade.

T4 won well in A5 and was sent off favourite in this grade last week where they had every chance, coming third. Will be out the back early with his slow starts but this can also help us by securing a lot of space in the run to the bend by out-trapping this runner.

T6 is a sprinter stepping back up in trip for the first time since may and may need the run, has been running well in D2 but this is completely different, maybe prominent round first few bends but then weaken in second half of this contest.

So to us in T5, we have a good opportunity to pace up and either lead on turn 2nd behind T6, our middle pace should hopefully then take us clear and we will have enough in hand to repel the strong finishers in T2 and T5. Solid chance.
