18:49 Hove - Bluejig Baron (T4) @ SP

Bluejig Baron returns to a track that has proved fruitful in recent visits. We hold a record of 7 wins from 8 races here which shows we like the course and run well over either the 500m distance or this extended 515m distance. Tonight I make this a match-race between us and T2

T1 is a slow-to-go ex-open racer and hurdler from Crayford. Hasn't really found his form here and it's a hard pass from me. T2 is of course the main danger and flew round in the quickest time of last week over this distance. But over the 500m they're not so quick. Will lead T1 early but I don't see him leading us.

T3 will be darting for the rails so will come across the inside and can cause trouble and crowding straight out of the boxes. This will also play into our paws. T5 out-graded in this and it's their first time stepping up this far. Good A1 form but I don't see him beating us.

T6 good draw but not quick enough to get involved in a clean-run race. We broke 29 seconds at Central Park when chasing home March on Freddie Saturday and that can put us spot on for cracking out and making all in this race. Bet of the day for me.

15:19 Central Park - Bit View Philly (T2) @ SP

This is a downgrade back into A1 from open-race class and the easiest race we have faced for a long time Good, consistent form here in the three races we have had. The times are good and a repeat of any of those will lane this and could get a good tow into the race by T1.

T1 made a winning debut in a quick time in A2 and steps up to top grade today. Lucky to get round in the race I watched but definitely has pace and rates as the main danger to us.

T3 is a regular runner in top-grade but has been found out a few times  and needs an easy lead. Not guaranteed to get that today. If this race was run late last year T4 would've been my pick. At that point he was running at the top of his game. Not so good recently and has just returned from injury.

T5 good early and similar form to us. I wouldn't want this one clearing the field at the bend and kicking on as that would be difficult to back-run. But I can't see that. Still a danger of course, I just think our overall class is better.

T6 outgraded for me in this. A couple of runs, one in April and one in Marc,h that were quick but other than that not that great. Will struggle to clear T5 at the bend. Back to us, I would like us to turn handier than normal, we have exceptional middle-pace to close and we can win this going away off the last bend. Confident choice.

Central Park @ 15:19:00 - Winner Bit View Philly
