1 pt 18:59 Hove – Underground Navy (T1) @ SP
Two from three yesterday with Toneitdown and Moaning Dolly winning in impressive fashion at Doncaster. Today, we head to the Nevill Road circuit Hove with three selections on a competitive card featuring action over two, four and six-bend distances. At 18:59, look out for the Romford raider UNDERGROUND NAVY, who lines up from T1 in the Summertime 695 Maiden Stayers open race. The Paul Young-trained railer makes his English debut this evening following a move across the Irish Sea.
The recent 29.41 trial over the four-bend 500-metre trip reads well, and he looks like the one they all have to beat on six-bend debut. The 695-metre distance is an unknown, but on Irish form he should see it out well, especially if he leads round and skips half a dozen clear. Stormy Bluey (T5) and Grouchos Prince (T6) can battle it out to chase the selection home and fill the forecast spot. Vic Rattlehead (T3) has caught the eye in recent weeks, staying on well in graded company around Hove, he could go well at a price.

1 pt 20:07 Hove – Bubbly Sheeran (T5) @ SP
The 500 Maidens Trophy final at 20:07 over the four-bend 500-metre trip can complete a double for trainer Paul Young with BUBBLY SHEERAN looking like a strong selection from T5. The November 2024 son of King Sheeran caught the eye on debut last week when staying on in taking fashion to finish second.
Tonight, if Sheeran turns with the pace, his natural middle gears can see him hit the front by the third bend and power clear of the chasing pack. Beachy Bullet (T4) beat King Sheeran last week in the heats of this Category Three competition and rates as the main danger. Jackpot Blue (T1) is a consistent Hove performer with a four from twenty-one record on his card. He looks well-drawn in T1 and could be worth including in forecast bets at a price.

1 pt 20:24 Hove – One Slick Jamie (T1) @ SP
At 20:24, it's all eyes on the boxes in an ultra-competitive final of the Coral Standard Trophy. There's plenty of early pace in the race and something has to give. Preference at a price is for strong staying railer ONE SLICK JAMIE in T1. The Paul Marchant-trained September 2022 son of Broadstrand Bono returned to action recently following a lengthy layoff. In fact, Jamie has only had three runs since July 2025.
Last week in the heats One Slick Jamie ran a cracker to grab second late on and laid down a marker for the final. Tonight, if Jamie traps level and holds his pitch into the corner, it's race on. Bowmers Wildcat (T6) is a class act and rates as the main danger. If the wide seed pinged the lids and led round, he would prove hard to peg back.
