Thursday Greyhounds Tips: Two to follow tonight

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line returns on Thursday with two more selections from across the UK, hoping to get back to winning ways.

As always, he gives us his thoughts and reasons behind his chosen runners, with both of tonight's picks coming from Hove. Read on to find out his Thursday Greyhounds Tips...

19:16 Hove - Hopiehopiehopie (T1) @ SP

Stayers’ trophy this evening and since initial promise our form has evened out but looks to have a good opportunity this evening against a poorer/slower field than we are normally used too. T2 is a bit of a kidder and has all the chasing pace in the world but stops when she hits the front. T3 looked not to stay last week when stepped up to this trip, T4 poorly drawn but to me rates the main danger to us if getting the first run as got to the recent stayers’ final at Central Park.

T5 is more of a railer so is poorly drawn out in T5, T6 is outgraded in this. We have to look after ourselves out of the traps and first bend, but by clearing those hurdles we can use our straight pace to challenge down the far side and win this going away.

19:49 Hove - Kilara Magic (T2) @ SP

Very unlucky last week after having the back end stood on by T1 when just about to go around in front, did break well and was more than a length clear going into the bend too, easier race this evening so I expect a dominant performance.

How I see the rest of the race going: I do see us leading T1 early in this and having lots of room as T3 edges and keeps to the middle on the run-up, so there is no excuse for us not to go around in front. I can see both T4 and T5 coming together and that will give us every more room to operate, T3/T4/T5 are poorly drawn as they will all be looking for the same ground as the traps open. We have the potential to win this by a couple of lengths granted last week’s break.
