1 pt 19:16 Hove – Alien Chieftan (T1) @ SP
Three from the Nevill Road circuit Hove this evening on a competitive card with action over a variety of distances. At 19:16, look out for well-drawn railer ALIEN CHIEFTAN, who runs from T1 in the Summertime 500 Maidens open race over the four-bend 500-metre trip. The June 2024 son of Shima Shine has recently moved across the Irish Sea following trials at Shelbourne Park followed by an impressive win at Dundalk.
Tonight, on Hove and English debut, the Derek Knight-trained runner looks likely to lead and once on the bunny a repeat of the smart 29.59 trial recorded last time out should see him take this. The Richard Ree-trained middle seed Glideaway Joey rates as the main danger from T4. Solo wide seed Slippy Des is another in with live claims from T6.

1 pt 19:33 Hove – Blackstone Harry (T1) @ SP
The Summertime Maiden Stayers open race at 19:33 over the six-bend 695-metre trip looks at the mercy of BLACKSTONE HARRY from T1. The Seamus Cahill-trained railer has caught the eye in recent weeks, flying home over four-bends and looks an ideal 695-metre Hove type. Tonight, on six-bend debut, the key is a level break and clear run. Letter Eileen (T3) could pop out and attempt to make all but if Harry turns second and within striking distance, it's race on.
Stormy Blue (T6) is another who can show early pace and would be a runner if allowed to skip clear of the chasing pack. Central Park raider Scrahan Splash (T5) is lightly raced over this sort of trip and is open to improvement. The market may be the best guide to the chances of the Maxine Locke-trained runner.

1 pt 20:41 Hove – Book Story (T4) @ SP
The third and final selection from Hove this evening is BOOK STORY, who runs from T4 in the Summertime 285 Maiden Sprint open race at 20:41. The early-paced middle seed moved well in trials at Towcester and Hove in recent weeks and then made her competitive debut over this course and distance last week when sent off at 9/4. Book Story paced up well and attempted to challenge but was met with trouble at the first bend and was shuffled back and finished fifth.
A line can be put through that run and this evening, with a ping break, the September 2024 daughter of King Elvis could lead round and make all. Move Over Eva (T1) is a consistent-graded performer around Hove and rates as the main danger and is worth including in forecast bets. Jays Pippin is another worth considering as a forecast mixer from T2.
