Thursday Greyhound Tips: Michael picks another trio from Dunstall Park

Our Greyhound tipster Michael Smyth (@bettingjungle) had one winner from his Wednesday selections, and he is hoping for better success on Thursday. He once again turns to Dunstall Park for his latest picks.

1 pt 16:22 Dunstall Park – Brosna Pine (T3) @ SP

Three from Dunstall Park this afternoon on a competitive card featuring action over two and four-bends distances. At 16:22 look out for Ross Williams-trained railer BROSNA PINE, who lines up from T3 in the A8 graded race over the four-bend 480-metre trip at the Wolverhampton venue Dunstall Park.

In recent weeks, the April 2024 son of Lenson Bocko has caught the eye, but he’s yet to break his maiden tag. Today, granted a clear run, Brosna Pine looks a class above his rivals, and he can finally get that much deserved win at the tenth attempt.

Clemmies Lass (T5) looks the likely leader but if Brosna Pine turns handy, it's race on. Rathsilla Vadar (T4) shows nice middle gears and could be the one to chase home the selection and fill the forecast spot. Scaletric (T6) is another in with place chances.

1 pt 16:44 Dunstall Park – Pharis Roxy (T1) @ SP

The A5 graded race at 16:41 can complete a quick-fire double for trainer Ross Williams, with PHARIS ROXY looking a solid betting proposition from T1.

The June 2024 youngster has only run three times over this four-bend 480 metre distance so there's plenty of improvement to come from the daughter of Ballyhimikin Jet. The key to the race will be the break and run into the first bend.

It's imperative that Roxy holds the rails and hits the back straight on the bunny. Droopys Brainy (T3) rates as the main danger. The July 2024 pup is two from three around Dunstall Park and would be a huge runner this afternoon if he brings his trapping boots.

Roseville Ella (T4) is worth noting in the market. The Neil Slowley-trained railer made her four-bend debut last week in A4 company. She’s sure to appreciate this ease in grade and is another in with live chances if she gets it right at the boxes.

1 pt 17:37 Dunstall Park – Shockwave Salina (T4) @ SP

Next up at Dunstall Park is SHOCKWAVE SALINA, who runs from T4 in the D3 graded race over the two-bend 270-metre trip. The Kate Harrison-trained wide seed is six from twenty-one in the grade and looks well-drawn to win again this afternoon.

As ever, over the sprint trip, it's all eyes on the boxes. If Salina gets it right and hits the first bend a couple clear, she's a 16.24 type of performer over this trip. A repeat of that would make her very hard to beat.

Blazeaway Jorge (T2) is another consistent running in this type of company and rates as the danger. Lightly raced Klassical Rog (T3) is worth noting in the market. The former Drumbo Park-based performer ran well on English debut last week and could well prove to be above this grade in time.
