Thursday Greyhounds Tips: Two to follow after Wednesday win

Our Greyhounds expert, Trap2Line, went two for two in his Wednesday Tips, and he'll be looking for more of the same in his Thursday Greyhounds Tips.
First, we head to Central Park, before ending the night in Hove...
Greyhound Tips - Thursday, June 26
15:57 Central Park - Hollyoak Harriet (T3) @ SP
This runner is recently back on the card, better grade prior to layoff and has been getting quicker and quicker each time she has been going to the traps, will have to come through runners today but there are only five runners so that will be easier, quickest in lineup with a run so I am confident that she can land this and start to climb the grades.
How I see this race being run...
T1 is a big danger on the inside, good draw and prefers this A6 class to A5, very consistent on times, and will give us lots to think about in this. Good early pace and can lead this race for a few bends, we are overall stronger.
T2 again another early pace type, won an A7 last week but this looks a big step up when you look at times and this one will struggle to get involved, may be prominent around the first two bends and then drop away.
T4 has a quick trial but so far since being back on the card and in races hasn't shown anywhere near that kind of time, slow to go and will be edging more middle to wide than middle to rails so will give us lots of room, if it was to be a bunched race and the leaders come together this runner could pounce late if gaining first run on us, I don't see this.
T5 surprisingly went off long odds on in the grade latest, unsure why and didn't run very well at all, dropping through the grades like a stone as was running A4 at the start of may, now in an A6, I don't see why this runner has been fancied recently and I can't see her landing a blow today.
No T6.
So, back to us, we have a good draw in T3 to follow the early pace inside us and tuck in behind the leaders around the first two bends. We have exceptional middle pace to close, and as long as we do things right at the third bend, I see us taking the lead off the last and winning this going away.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
19:33 Hove - Romeo Tomcat (T4) @ SP
Won the derby plate at Towcester recently and last week came here for a trial over the 515m trip, where she went round in 29.8 seconds first look, and that is pretty quick. Tonight is the first round of a dual-distance competition, and we can land this and book our place in the final.
This is how I see this opening heat being run.
T1 bundles of early pace on the inside, better known as a sprinter, but has recorded some quick four-bend times and is likely to lead this for the first three bends at least.
T2 slow to go local but could sit in behind T1 and get a nice tow into this race, I rate this runner as our main danger, and she does have good form and quick times recently in A1s.
T3 would prefer a draw closer to the rails, and I can't see this one clearing the inside, especially considering T1 did have some quick times recently at Towcester during the derby and first round of the derby plate. Has since been to Romford in preparation for this, for a trial-breaking 24 seconds, which is quick. I feel that this runner will edge left all the way up the run up towards the first bend, and that can give us more room to pace up in T4.
T5 will be outclassed here and to me will go off as a big outsider in this contest, and I can't see this one landing a blow.
T6 comes back on the card after a lay-off with some gutsy wins and showing very good early pace in his races. I have seen on the run in, though, this runner looking vulnerable, and we in T4 will be staying on strongly, so I can't see this one lasting out. A year or so ago, this one would've probably been favourite for this race.
So back to us, good launch pad and ideal makeup to turn handy and stay best in this contest, lots going for us, and on recent form, we are well clear of this field. That's why I make this selection my bet of the day.
