We landed a mini competition at the course last week, staying on strongly over 695m, so this extended 749m should play into our paws - and tonight’s opposition isn't as strong as last week.
We're unlikely to lead tonight so will have to come from the back, but this race sets up perfectly for us to pick our way through and be travelling all over the leaders down the back. We can lead by the sixth bend and pull clear for an easy win.

Grade Open Race 500m
An Irish import from Cork who's yet to win over here, or even to produce his trial times in races. Last time out we were pitched into a deep race, being a final of a competition against better dogs than he will face tonight.
We have fared well in the draw, being the only wide seed, so we have a perfect launch pad to clear away tonight. We have bundles of early speed and can stay on well off the last. Trap 5 is a proper middle runner so we're going to have lots of room on the outside to lead and make all.

Grade Open Race Stayers 695m
Debuted over this staying trip last week and found all sorts of trouble in running. This is an easier race than last time and the price will be short, but he looks the obvious one to be with.
Trap 1 is very slowly into stride, while Trap 2 is more known as a mid card A5/A6 type so is going to struggle against us out the traps as we have early pace. So tonight looks a good opportunity to lead from the off and go clear to win easily.
