Thursday Greyhounds Tips: Two to follow from Hove

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line returns with his Thursday Greyhound Tips, which both come from Hove.

20:59 Hove - Harlequin Beauty (T4) @ SP

Very unlucky last week when ran into trouble but did show tremendous pace to get back involved, only to be badly crowded when coming to challenge for the lead.

T1 has good early pace over the 500m trip so could lead up on the rails, class-wise is a bit off these in a clean run race, but if there is trouble behind this one could take advantage.

T2 is our main danger but running style brings trouble as this one is slow into stride and stays on, so will need gaps to appear at the right times to get involved.

T3 railer that will be coming across T2 so could crowd that one out on the run up, will be vying for the lead with T1 at the bend, overall times not great for this 695m trip.

T5 has a good draw on the outside but hasn't been over a trip for a while, did run in a few 740m races back in December so back form is there and will stay but to me outclassed by the ones I've mentioned.

My eye will be drawn to where T2 turns, it's important we get first run on that rival, if we do we have a great chance, in my opinion.

21:16 Hove - Scooby The Boss (T3) @ SP

To me this runner was unlucky to be eliminated from the second round of the Greyhound Derby, where nothing went right at crucial stages of the race. Tonight has a major drop in class and I think they can record a victory over this 515m trip.

T1 really good draw on the rails but overall form doesn't compete with most of tonight's runners, only time that could match up was back in January where he run a 29.22. He's been way off those times recently and knocked out of the first round of the Derby a fortnight ago.

T2 is the main danger to us and has good form over the 500m and 515m trip, it will be a good buckle between us and this runner.

T4 has a poor draw and we will have to be careful on the run up to avoid T4 coming across as this one likes the rails. T5 one of my favourites from Central Park, has been handed a terrible draw tonight and is still running into form from season, best watched in this.

T6 has solid if uninspiring form, again Derby elimination, and also has a solo draw on the outside. Being the only wide seed I just don't see him having the pace to clear these at the bend.

I think our selection can break well, either lead or turn on the shoulder of T2, if we do our middle pace could take us clear.
