Thursday Greyhounds Tips: Trap2Line’s two for Thursday

It was one from three for our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line yesterday and he's back with another couple of selections - from Newcastle and Monmore - for your consideration on Thursday evening.

Our first selection comes from the first race of the night in the North East.

This season bitch has been slowly running into form since lay off and produced two really good times in the past few weeks, which tells me that there is still more to come being raised to this grade for the first time.

How I see tonight’s race going: I do feel we have an excellent make up in this race with a slow starting/middle running debutant next to us in Trap 2 that will be moving off and giving us plenty of room to pace up and clear at the bend. A clear run is all that is required to win this and if we get that we are a couple of lengths too quick for the field.

Grade D2 264m

We mix it between two and four-bend races, and run at a quite good level in both, unlucky in two recent two-bend races after being crowded first bend on both occasions.

How I see tonight’s race going: with the benefit of a good draw on the inside, we can use that to pace up and recently due to the cold weather the inside runners seem to have a slight advantage from these traps. I see us using our four-bend early to clear at bend and go on to win this well.
