18:59 Hove - Bluejig Baron (T3) @ SP

Impressive victory over the extended four bends last week and looked in no danger throughout once trapping and kicking clear. Bluejig Baron likes it here and saves all his best running for this venue. We have a change in trap tonight from T6 into T3 but we are a middle runner so that's not a negative and looking over all the variables in the race, my eyes were drawn to us for the run we are going to get.

How I see the race panning out: T1 is a massive danger and could come away and lead but all form suggests that this doesn't happen very often. I would be concerned if T1 pings, T2 has also pace but overall times aren't as quick as us, so we can lead T2 or come from behind T2. Outside us, T4 is slow to break so we will have them early on, although T4 does stay on strongly so a crowded race and they could become a danger.

T5 prior to lay-off was running really well and won on comeback but the time is nothing special and has also lost his T6 draw which is crucial to his chances. T6 also has come back from lay-off and similar comments to T5 - times aren't up with us in T3. So all in all I see us leading or turning handy from T3 using our middle pace to clear away and go on to win this by multiple lengths.

18:26 Hove - Hopes Kitty (T3) @ SP

We looked visually unlucky last week on our British debut when we were handed a horrible draw in T5. We were crowded in the run-up and looked to be coming with a winning run at the 3rd bend, but again got crowded out of it. Better drawn tonight and the make up of the entire race will suit us. Looking over our back form, we had an exceptional Irish card with some very fast times at Shelbourne Park winning a heat of the national puppy stakes. There is nothing in this line up even close to that level of form so I'm very confident we can land this.

How I see this race going: The danger to me will be the outside here in T6 as he has a good draw and has shown consistent form at Central Park - also being the only wide seed will guarantee a clear passage. T4 is an average grader that will be out of his depth in this and likely to go off the outsider. T2 is an improving grader and posted a PB two runs back, but will be looking for the rails run early on and could crowd up with T1 on the run-up.

T1 again brings a good/solid Irish card to these shores and on paper has a good draw, but from watching replays and previous races will be edging more rails so could crowd with the T2 as soon as traps rise. This all leads to us trapping well and making all for an impressive debut victory in the UK.
