Thursday Greyhounds Tips: Central Park and Monmore come under our spotlight

Trap2Line has been working those little grey cells once again on our behalf. He's identified dogs at both Central Park and Hove that could be primed and ready to do the business - see what you think.

T1 (Breaghmore Paudie) 15:01 Central Park @ SP

One a my favourite runners, back on the card after injury and had trialled both at Romford and here before being entered in the silver salver - where mid-race crowding put paid to his chances.

This D1 is more manageable and the selection should come on for last week's spin; and with no T2 in the race has loads of room to pace up and rail this field off at the bend.

How I see this top grade sprint race being run - (No T2).

T3 is very consistent and the Racing Post thinks this one will go off favourite. Has good D1 form and is a 16.40s bitch with a clear run. Looking at races and videos this one moves off when drawn in T3 as is more used to T4 and T5, so is going to give us loads of room on the rails to pace up.

If we don't lead however and this one does it will be hard to reel this runner in so T3 is a very big danger.

T4 will do well to avoid T3 initially, this is this pup's debut today, trials are getting quicker and quicker and T4 found a chunk of time latest which meant the assessor had no option other than to put him in the top grade.

T5 is a consistent D1 runner, pops up now and again at big prices, but she always runs her race. Not for me today, but could surprise a few if the race gets messy.

T6 has been pitched in at the deep in with very strong D1 and open race dogs, has performed well and this is the easiest race he has faced in a while. I just can't get away from our draw though, and this runner has to come round some quick starters on his inside, so it's not for me.

So back to us in T1 - everything points to a very good run, we have lots going for us regarding draw, times, overall form and I can see us getting back into the winners' enclosure today. Confident pick.

T4 (Longacres Gordon) 20:31 Monmore @ SP

This runner has had terrible luck in numerous races here and also at Perry Barr. When getting a clear run though is very very fast, and looking at this evening's make-up of the race I do see an all-the-way victory after a fast start.

How I see the race panning out - T1 is one I've tipped before and does have form here, also winning form at Romford. Since returning here though has not come away and has been very slow into stride the last two runs.

Is better than that I believe, and represents our main danger with a good draw on the rails. If we get held up early this one can take advantage late on as is a stayer and will be running on strongly off the last.

T2 surprised some with a sprint win at Hove, not so good latest though and returns to his home track this evening. Won his last A2 and steps up to the top grade. Overall times for me aren't quick enough to feature in this contest if it's a clean-run race.

T3 is a solid A1 and open race performer, been involved in all kinds of trouble last run, and better judged on the time before when winning late on. Does trap well but lacks that yard of pace to the bend, which brings trouble. Off the last bend it does stay on strongly so could again come into this race if it gets held up.

T6 came back on the card in April with two wins, not so good since, and is plotted up on the outside being the only wide seed. Has run poorly the last four times and a watching brief is advised until he shows his April form again, so not for me.

So to us in T4 - good draw with no T5 next to us, we have the early to clear T3 at the bend, and if we go around in front I can't see us being picked up.
