Greyhound Betting Tips - Sunday, June 8
14:16 Towcester T5 (Kranky Drake) @ SP
Debut this afternoon - I've really been impressed with this one's trials at Oxford and Central Park, and any dog that can break 29 seconds for the 491m distance at Central Park will be something special. I do think Keven Hutton has unearthed a very specifical one in 'Drake.'
Here's how I see this puppy open race being run - T1, great draw and some good form both here and at Sheffield, however end times need to be improved upon if he is to figure in this contest this afternoon.
T2 (Hove raider), no real show in one trial and one run over course and distance, and will need to improve to figure today.
T3 was knocked out of the Derby in the third round, loves the rails and not sure to like being this far away from them. Will be staying in so any crowding will play into this one's strengths, and you won't see this greyhound till very late.
T4 will edge left at trap rise as it prefers the rails pitch, and could cause crowding to the inside runners with that move, so not for me.
T6 (Yarmouth raider), poor trial here and will need to come on a bundle to figure, outsider of this race for me.
So to us - ideal launch pad and will have lots of room on the run to pace up and clear these. I feel this can be a dominant introduction before going on to better things.
Bet of the day for me.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
20:52 Star Pelaw T3 (Acapulco) @ SP
Very very unlucky last week, as was badly crowded for the majority of the race. Will come on a bundle for that and can win this maiden sprint with the minimum of fuss. Drawn well, and has superior form in the book
How I see the race being run - T1 (Oxford runner), will do well to get involved. A long way behind latest, and didn't get as much trouble as we did. Not for me this one.
T2 - a very good first look here and could come on for that, but I just feel with this one being off since March might need this run. T4 (again another Oxford runner), hasn't really shown anything since arriving on these shores and to me will be the outsider.
T6 (Kinsley runner) will have the outside to his self but D2 Kinsley doesn't compare form-wise to an open race here, not for me.
So to us - we will avenge last week's unlucky run, we can pace up and clear these at the bend, max bet for me.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
