1 pt 15:01 Hove – Newinn Noddy (T6) @ SP
All eyes on Hove this afternoon for a competitive card featuring twelve graded races. Last night at Towcester didn't disappoint with thrilling action all evening and with the six finalists now known and safely into the hat for next Saturday's English Greyhound Derby final.
Moving onto today, over at Hove, at 15:01, look out for well-drawn wide seed NEWINN NODDY, who lines up from T6. The Patrick Browne-trained May 2023 son of Newinn Taylor drops into A2 company this afternoon following an A1 win just two weeks ago.
Dropped in grade by the Racing Manager, this is one that Noddy is sure to appreciate and one he can take advantage of. The key to the race is the break, trap well and Noddy will prove hard to beat. Glenrock King (T4) is another with plenty of A1 form and rates as the main danger.
September 2024 pup Zenia (T2) bolted up in A5 grade last time out in 29.52. A three-grade hike may seem harsh, but she's open to improvement and looks a nice type.

1 pt 15:57 Hove – Chisem Toby (T3) @ SP
The A10 graded race at 15:57 over the four-bend 500-metre trip can go to the Ricky Holloway-trained railer CHISEM TOBY from T3. In recent weeks, the July 2024 son of Scaglietti has attempted to lead round but often met trouble at the first bend.
Today, in a race lacking early pace on the rails, Toby has a chance to get on the bunny, and, if that happens, he’s capable of clocking around the 30.60 mark, which should see him take this. Punk Rock Zelda (T4) is often there or thereabout at the finish and rates as the main danger. She could also be worth including in forecast bets along with youngster Elite Rose from T2.

1 pt 16:34 Hove – Cecil Deville (T5) @ SP
Next up at Hove is the Rosie Tungatt-trained sprinter CECIL DEVILLE who runs from T5 in the two-bend D3 graded event at 16:34 over 285 metres. Lightly raced in recent months, Cecil Deville was open race and A1 class at the back of 2025 but was then off the track from late December until mid-May.
Two recent runs would have blown away the cobwebs, and he should be spot on and ready to break his maiden tag this afternoon. Selker Bay Mary (T1) is an interesting runner on Hove debut following a move from Romford.
The railer showed plenty of early pace at the London Road circuit, Romford and would be a danger to all if she translated that form to Nevill Road, Hove. Mirtus Yifter (T3) is a consistent performer in this grade and would be a runner with a level break.
