Our second selections is stepping back up in trip tonight, to 540m, having recently been campaigned over four bends.

This one has very good form and strong early pace, which is going to help this evening as the 540m trip includes a short burst to the bend.

Rivals in T1 and T2 aren’t the quickest into stride, and that going to help us out. We'll need pace out of Trap 3, otherwise it's going to be very tough against tonight's field.

The big danger would be if T6 got loose and we got held up, but ultimately I feel if we lead then it’s game over.

Grade Open Race 540m

This one should really have won last week, but was held up at crucial stages of the race before finishing strongly.

I see tonight's race being much easier and while I would’ve preferred T1, we still have a strong chance of coming out on top when it matters.

The key will be what happens at trap rise and going into the opening bend, as this is basically a match between us and T1 and it will likely come down to who gets the clearest passage.

I feel we have some early speed over four bends but also stay better than T1, so I can see us turning in a pitch and proving too quick on the second lap.
