Greyhounds Betting Tips - Sunday, December 29
20:59 Crayford - All Along (T1) @ SP
Arrives here in exceptional form, posting some quick times over this 540m distance, lurched in at the deep end tonight against some top open race performers but was granted the inside draw (other dangers in the race drawn poorly). We can use that to our advantage - it could be X-rated stuff at the initial bend but being inside will help us greatly.
How I see this race going: we, as I have said, have a good draw in the rails, T5 is the quickest in this granted a clear run but from T5 (normally drawn T1) will struggle to avoid crowding on the run-up and has a very pacey dog up her inside in Slick Sabo so for the life of me I can't see T5 getting clear. This paves the way for us to rail the field off at the first bend and quickly use our four-bend pace to go clear.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
19:16 Crayford - Bright Jewel (T5) @ SP
Match race for me here between us and T4, we ran well last week, time was nothing flashy but that was our first look and during the race, I saw us not really getting to grips with the tight bends, as the race progressed though we ran better and will come on a lot for that experience.
How I see this race going tonight: T4 should lead and draw us out, if we turn second or no worse than third behind T4 I will be confident of picking her up as this 714m stretches her stamina to the max, whereas we get quicker the further we go as seen at Hove recently. I am confident of a big run and personally, I would have us as favourites, not the other way round.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
21:16 Crayford - Trinity Bella (T6) @ SP
Comes here after improved form over the 491m trip at Central Park, will also improve for our first spin over the 540m where we clocked 34.35. Prior to that, we stopped the clock at 23.54 over 380m which if we repeat that we are going to go miles clear here in this OR3.
How I see this race going: T5 moves more middle as the traps open and can give us lots of room on the outside to pace up, I see us handy, maybe not leading as both T3/T4 have good early too, but our middle pace should be quick enough to seize control down the back second time and will prove too strong coming home.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
