Sunday Greyhounds Tips: Three picks from Crayford and Sheffield

15:09 Sheffield - Clodcar Rosie (T4) @ SP

Irish purchase has showed lots of ability in three runs on these shores at Newcastle, latest held up early and making up a lot of ground over 640m late on to be a close second, without the trouble would've won and should be a decent price today.

How I do see this afternoon's race? I think we get a pitch in behind the leaders early, with a lot of early pace 4 bend types stepping up in trip.

I feel we will be too strong for them second lap and have superior six bend form in Ireland so class will bring us through. Danger of course is Trap 3 if she gets loose but I can see both Trap 1 and Trap 2 holding her up in the initial stages.

Would’ve won last week if we hadn’t been held up early in the race, we also looked ast hough a draw nearer the fence would be better than Trap 6. We step back up in trip to an extended six bends today.

How I see today's race going? There is isn’t much early in opposition - I would be concerned if Trap 6 pinging but I see us being handier than usual and we stay on very well so expect us to forge clear off the last.

Back on the card today after a blatant disqualification when last seen at Newcastle, has since switched codes to hurdles and has really taken to them well recording five-sub-24 second runs.

I think this evenings race goes as follows, I feel we pace up inside Trap 6 on the run up with Trap 4 moving more mid to rails, if we lead on run up or by first hurdle, then I can only see us winning by multiple lengths. However, if we don’t lead we are a jealous type and will at some point in the race be in and around the lead.

I could see us back running a couple of these, will be short but the only one I can see winning this.
