Sunday Greyhounds Tips: Trap2Line picks out two for Sunday

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line produced a winner and a second-placed finish with his Saturday selections, and he will be hoping to go one further on Sunday.

13:57 Towcester - T1 (Savana Mongys) @ SP

Maiden stayer event this afternoon, really badly crowded in latest outing over 500m when just about the turn in a challenging position, rewatching the derby first heat after the line. This runner spouted wings and flew to the pick up so this extra 212m will suit us down to the ground. Prior to us arriving here in England we won a 668m race at Waterford where it looked like we would be a stayer with a future and we can confirm that promise this afternoon.

T2 is a slow-starting local who can give us room initially to pace up and control the rails. T3 has been over the trip a few times but has been kept to four- bend races of late, important we lead this runner early as they will want to come across to the rails at the first bend but I'm hoping we are ahead at that point. 

T4 totally unknown, to me no chance as over standard trip is a lowly A6 grader, this is a steep rise in class and will no doubt go off one of the outsiders in this race. T5 has been over six bends at Romford not really getting competitive and again will struggle this afternoon. 

T6 won against us last week by 10 lengths, but had the run of the race, danger again to get off the front but I feel we turn handier this week and can reel this runner in late in the day to record an impressive 6 bend win. Confident selection.

19:51 Clonmel - T6 (Snazzy Boss) @ SP

Irish produce stakes semi-finals three in total and two qualify for the decider next week, we have the best draw I've seen in a long while here tonight, only seed that is drawn correctly and we can use this draw to miss all the trouble on the inner and clear this field at the bend before stretching away for an impressive victory.

T1 is a better draw tonight than last week and rates our main danger, did get crowded at crucial stages in that race and could prove dangerous with a clear run. T2 will be heading to the rails once traps open, did well to qualify after a slow start in the opening round last week. 

T3 showed good early but with a clear run last week ended up nearly 3 lengths behind us so will struggle to reverse that form. T4 is a strong finisher, will need gaps to appear at crucial points in this race, I don't see this one gaining a clear run, so not for me. T5 solid local but really poor draw tonight, will hate being this far away from the fence and can basically ruin the races on the dogs on his inside on the run up. So to us, the key is draw to miss the trouble, overall solid form and a quick time in defeat, can turn first and then power clear for victory. Good chance.
