Sunday Greyhounds Tips: In-form Trap2Line hopeful of further joy

Our greyhounds tipster Trap2Line is in red-hot form at the moment, with six winners from his last eight selections, and he's got another couple of tips for Sunday.

17:19 Sheffield - Droopys Flare (T2) @ SP

DROOPYS FLARE rates an exciting stayer who broke the 39-second barrier for this 660m trip on his last visit to Sheffield. That's some going.

Tonight is a harder race featuring solid stayers in T4 and T6, so we will have to be on our toes throughout. A clear run and I'm hopeful we'll be too quick for these.

T1 is the early pace runner and he could cause a hazard, but if we trap quickly and use our four-bend pace we can turn on his shoulder or lead that runner and claim the rails.

T3 could run into a place if fully geared up on her return to action, while T4 has some very quick four and six-bend times to his name and rates our main danger of getting loose on the front. That being said, last week's time is eight lengths slower than the one we posted over the same course and distance.

T6 is another consistent type that like it here and any crowding will bring him into it, but T5 doesn't look up to this level and could have used a better draw.

All in all, though, I'm hopeful about our chances in this one.

17:39 Towcester - Vhagar (T4) @ SP

VHAGAR stopped the clock under 29 seconds on his latest run over track and trip, and there's no other runner in this field who can get close to that time.

T1 improved on times last week and is well drawn here. They could be dangerous with similar improvement, but I can see crowding on the run up which could put paid to their chances.

T2 is more of a stayer but could come into this if it ends up being a crowded race. But there's no evidence of early pace and they're likely to struggle to lay up with this field early on.

Similar comments apply to T5, who's best known for staying qualities and less so early pace. That, on top of T3 being likely to make a move for the rail and possibly hampering T2 and T1, leaves us a good launch pad to get off to a good start.

We've got good early pace and stay well too, so everything points to a bold bid. I'm very hopeful about Vhagar's chances.
