Sunday Greyhounds Tips: Three picks from Trap2Line

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line is back with a trio of  Greyhounds Tips to finish off the weekend.

T3 (Geelo Legend) 15:47 Sheffield @ SP

Improving pup who has been climbing the grades in recent weeks and recorded a PB in landing a maiden one off open last week. We return to graded fair this week (A2) and look to have a good draw to work from this afternoon.

How I see the race going: T1 prior to last week had been off nearly a year so is still running into full fitness. Prior to lay-off would easily win this but overall times since returning means she may struggle late on. T2 will be heading to the rails on the run up and is a very tight railer who will be staying on strongly so any crowding up front could play into her paws. T4 will give us lots of room as that will be edging right out the traps , T6 only wide seed in the race and will have lots of room on the outside to pace up, but form nothing special and likely to go off the outsider. So I take us to keep improving and land this before going on to better things. I would be confident if we lead up or turned on the shoulder of T1. Confident selection.

T1 (Oscar the Grouch) 15:27 Sheffield @ SP

Looking over the entire day of racing this dog is the best drawn runner of the day. We return to the track after a lay-off but showed our wellbeing with a very quick trial at Sunderland and previously had some eye-catching form at this track.

How I see todays racing going: T2 will be the key to our race today. All form is out of T4 and T5 so this unfamiliar drawn in T2 will mean that the dog will be edging right out the traps and on the run to the first bend, giving us lots of room on the inside. T3 is better known as a four-bend runner and will struggle to miss T2 edging into him at trap rise. T4 could be our danger with a ping break as that has broken the 16-second barrier on a few occasions here and that is solid form. T6 sole wide seed is out-graded in this and will struggle to keep up. All I see is our early pace taking us to the lead at first bend and we go onto win well.

T1 (Druids Say Go) 17:39 Towcester @ SP

We are a really fast bitch in full flow. Still on the road to recovery following a spell on the sidelines, has reverted back to sprint trips from four-bend races, overall recently from trials it seems that this track and trip will be perfect and we have a good draw to work from this afternoon.

How I see the race being run: T2 would be a massive danger if this race was being run at Monmore, but has never been here before so to me will struggle as drawn. T3 tight railer so draw in T3 not ideal and again has never been here before. T4 rates a serious danger to us and has some good form here and also in sprints, I just feel as drawn we have the edge. T5 mixes four-bend and two-bend races and ran well latest but won't clear T4 on this occasion. T6 will be outclassed and probably go off the outsider. So all in all I think we pace up from a level break and rail the field off at the bend before going in to win well.
