Sunday Greyhounds Tips: Two picks from Trap2Line

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line is back for his final selections of the week as he picks out two runners from Towcester on Sunday afternoon.

T5 (Mad for Sterling) 16:26 Towcester @ SP

Debut at this course this afternoon but running style suggests that the 500m trip will suit up. We are a big staying type that gets faster and faster the longer the race goes on and I feel with the make up of this race we can pick the runners off one by one and get on top off the last bend to win the race going away.

T1 has consistent form here with plenty of wins and would be dangerous if getting off the front and we get held up behind. T2 not all that quick into stride and will be looking for the rails on the run up and could come together with T1

T3 springs out the traps and could lead here but overall times didn't look quick enough. T4 has a perfect record here 2/2 and will have a chance but that form was against lesser lights and if we turn up as I think we will. I can't see T4 landing a blow. What I see is us tracking the early pace in the middle and rounding the entire field at the last bend to win. Solid chance.

T5 (Mongys Wild) 16:44 Towcester @ SP

Improved for the step up in distance and was always going to as we had excellent form over extreme distances in Ireland. Took to this track really well with two good wins over course and distance, got going too late at Monmore latest when was noted making good late headway the further he went and was well on top after the line and to the pick up which bodes well for this afternoon's race.

I make this a match between us and T3. T3 ran really well off the front last week and broke the 43-second barrier for 712m and that is going some. We have done that in both our races too so it looks like it's going to be a tussle

We both have different running styles too. T3 likes to be off the front and we like to come from behind, but looking at todays runners/make up we aren't going to be as far behind as normal and I see us challenging for the lead down the back the second time and picking T3 up off the last bend to win going away. Very confident.
