15:11 Towcester - Yorkie Ollie (T2) @ SP

Graham Holland brings him over for a second look this afternoon after a really good trial last week. It’s a really strong and competitive race today, but the make-up of it suggests we will come out on top and probably improve on the sub-29 second time we posted seven days ago.

How I see this race panning out: T1 is a really solid performer, and last time, here went miles clear over six bends, only to be picked up off the last. Since then, he has broken the track record at valley for the staying trip; the return to four bends here could be a good move but is pitched in the deep end against this field.

T3 is a very solid yardstick at Hove and produced some very good form there. He does like the rails, so we will need to be on our toes early to avoid being crowded, but we have lots of early to avoid that.

T4 has only ever had one trial here, and that was in December over two bends only. Since then, he has been running well at Perry Barr and, on paper today, has a good draw being sole middle seed; however, I don't think he has our class. So, back to us in T2, on paper, none of these could run as quick as us at Shelbourne Park over 503m trip, we have great early and can clear away from the off and go on to win well and record a quicker time than last week. Confident choice.

16:26 Towcester - Blarney Roy (T4) @ SP

Last week’s form gives us the edge in this race based on final times alone but also we had a troubled run and still ran quickly, granted a clearer run this afternoon we can easily land this race.

How I see the race being run: T1 returns to the track this afternoon after being off for seven months; prior to that lay-off, he was a regular winner here over course and distance. Last month and the start of this month he has had five trials with times mid to late 29 seconds which wouldn't be quick enough to be competitive here, so a watching brief advised.

T2 is winning sprinter and comes here on the back of a quick time over two bends; however, form over four bends doesn't match up to us in T4. May lead early but fade out of the race in the later stages.

T3 has been on his travels at both Romford and Yarmouth, and does have some good form at those venues, but didn't show much or run too well here last week. Will have to improve on that, but if he does will be the danger to us.

T5 again another sprinting type, been on and off the card in recent months, again another with early but final four bend times not up to our standard. So, back to us in T4, we can track the pace in T2/T5 before making a mid-race move and going on off the last to win well with T3 staying on into second.

16:26 Towcester - Winner Blarney Roy
