Greyhound Tips - Saturday, May 31

18:51 Towcester - Radical Scooby (T1) @ SP
I feel the make up of this race is perfect for RADICAL SCOOBY to track the early pace and come with a wet sail off the last to win.
T2 is one of the dangers tonight, as they probably boast more early pace than we do - though I suspect they'll only set the race up for us. I see them leading for the majority of the race, before we take it up at the business end.
The debutant in T3 moved towards the rails in trials, so could give the likely leader something to think about on the run-up. On overall times, they're not an obvious threat to the selection, though.
T4 is another who prefers being closer to the rails. They'll probably edge left at trap rise and is another I can't see this one getting involved today.
T5 ran better than the bare form in the derby and rates the main danger as far as I'm concerned. They've got good all-round pace and have a good draw to work with. T6 is an average grader that ought to struggle.
The key to our race is being led out by T2. That will, in turn, give us something to aim at. We should be strong in the finish, boasting six-bend form and warming up for this with a quick trial over 575m at Romford, so all things considered Radical Scooby has a solid chance.

20:36 Central Park - Fastlane Hoffa (T1) @ SP
FASTLANE HOFFA is a Thurles runner making his first start on these shores. They've recorded quick 277m trials in the past fortnight, and I've been waiting for this one to come out.
Of tonight's rivals, T2 is a fellow ex-Irish runner to be wary of. Although, they were nearly eight lengths slower than us previously, so we should have no problem leading that one with a good trap.
T3 had a big reputation after her 28.88 win at Cork earlier in the year, but has since failed yet to reproduce anywhere near that level of form. It's a pass for me.
T4 has enjoyed some good wins at local tracks, but this is a different level entirely and my suspicion is they'll struggle with what is a steep rise in grade.
T5 is a good sprinter, but not as useful in four-bend races. I see this one going off the rank outsider this evening.
T6's main strength is their early pace, so they'll be coming across out of the traps which could hamper the dogs in T5 and T4. That's a help to us.
Everything is staged for a quick getaway - and then I hope to see us pull clear down the back and have enough in the tank to hold on close home.
