Saturday Greyhounds Tips: Clovass Spice too hot to handle at Romford

Our resident Greyhounds tipster, Trap2Line, returns today with his Saturday Greyhounds Tips.

19:08 Romford - Clovass Spice (T6) @ SP

We look to have a lot going for us in this basement grade this evening, good draw to work from, and head and shoulders above these on form and times.

How I see this race being run tonight: T1 is in really poor form and goes off big prices each time; I can't be having this one this evening. T2, again, similar comments to T1, will struggle to get involved. T3 is good early but has poor end times and will drop away second half of this race. T4 puppy so far hasn't got involved in races, will improve with time, but not for me today. T5 will edge across as drawn and give us lots of room on the outside. So, we basically have a solo here with good pace to clear and kick on for an impressive win. Solid choice.

20:26 Oxford - Droopsy Stat (T3) @ SP

Debut tonight but has been firmly in my notebook for the past few weeks and getting quicker and quicker each time, we found a chunk of time lately and can improve again this evening, and has a really good make-up in this.

How I see the race being run: T1 is a solid A1 performer that steps up in grade tonight, from videos, I see him stepping right at the boxes and cannoning into T2 initially tuning both their chances. T2 has been impressive lately, but will have to be on his toes at trap rise though, as T1 will be coming over; personally, I can't see him repeating his time lately, but he will help us and draw us into the race.

T4 edges off from T3 but moves in from T5, so draw ideal, just not put this class being a grader at Swindon, and will make up the numbers this evening. T5 again, another Swindon raider, not up to this class, and a watching brief advised. T6 bad draw for this middle runner, has never been here for a look and runs graded at Yarmouth, for the life of me I can't see her getting involved in this and will ruin her chances at the boxes turning left and banging into T5.

So, back to us, like I mentioned, I really like our progression in the last few weeks, and we can come on again in this. What I see is us tracking the early pace and challenging, and going on by the third bend to win well.
