Recently moved back here from Oxford and was contesting some decent open races there, has trialled well, and visually latest looked unlucky not to land an open race over course and distance.

How I see tonight's race panning out - we have fared very well on tonight's draw, being the only wide seed. T5 is going to give us even more room edging into the middle on the run up, the inside three runners all look to be drawn the wrong way round with T3 wanting T1 and T1 wanting more a middle draw.

So I see us being out of the way and going around the opening bend unscathed, then kicking clear for our maiden victory. Strong selection.

T3 (Extra Place) 21:46 Central Park

Top grade sprinter over this course and distance, has a good record in both the trap and the grade, and overall form puts us a couple of lengths clear of today's field in a clean-run race. We haven't won for a while but we are always there or thereabouts

How I see this race going - T6 stepping up to D1 for the first time but overall profile says he will struggle to go with these early. T5 does have D1 form but that to me has been achieved in poorer D1s than this evening and times don't match up to our selections.

T4 will be our danger as it's very consistent and has dropped the odd good time recently and would give us lots to worry about if coming out the traps quickly. T2 is older than me and even though it has winning form it's not up at this level.

T1 has mixed it in D2 and low D1 races but again overall profile isn't great. We can trap well, clear at the bend and go on to win well.
