Saturday Greyhounds Tips: Two picks to kick off the weekend

19:11 Central Park - T3 (Tuono Bella) @ SP

Season bitch running into form and getting stronger each week, prior to season was winning races for run over extended distances, still possesses enough speed for this 491m trip and looks to have an excellent opportunity this evening given the race make up.

How I see the race going - T1 is a very consistent sort over this trip and on top grade here, been caught out a bit the last two weeks as it doesn't have that initial speed so has found trouble spots, same again this evening for me. T2 100% wants the rails and will be edging left out the traps and that will pave the way for a good run for us, T2 will put the pace to the race but I feel we turn in behind this runner. T5 again early pace type and stays straight on the run up so again will give us room to operate, a touch off top class but also no back number and could run well at a price tonight. T6 is outgraded in this and likely to go off the outsider, so not for me.

So back to us, we can track the pace in T2 and T5, turn in third and loom up to the leaders at third bend before going clear off the last to win well. Solid chance.

19:36 Perry Barr - T1 (Tempestade) @ SP

Clonmel scorer and recent Irish recruit, thought a lot of and pitched into top grade here the past two runs, had a slight niggle and been off a couple of weeks, but trialled back really well over two bends and this race make up suits us to a tee.

How I see this one-off open race being run this evening - T2 is a slow to stride Swindon grader and will be out of her depth in this which means we will get first run on the inside. T3 seriously quick early pace local runner, blitzes out the traps but then runs seems to peter out, so not for me. 

T4 is a local grader will hate this draw and will edge across to the rails and could crowd with T3 and have a knock on effect to T2, I'm hoping we have the early pace to be out of the way and miss the trouble. T5 again another local A3 runner this time so on form is outgraded in this and again could crowd on the run-up. T6 is a Swindon raider that is plotted up on the outside and is a danger to us with the draw alone but does have some good back form and if we don't produce our form this one could pick up the pieces. However back to us, we have the rails pitch, good early and solid course form so a max bet for me.
