Saturday Greyhounds Tips: Central Park – two lively ones for tonight

All eyes are on the Central Park racetrack this evening as our Greyhound expert Trap2Line is keen on two contests on the card, and has selections for both.
Greyhound Tips - Saturday, March 16
T4 (Glenhead Tom) 19:44 Central Park @ SP
Mixes both four and six bends, steps back up in trip tonight and looks to have a lot going for us (fingers crossed).
I basically make this a match between us and T2 but looking at the overall make-up of the race I see us just about coming out ahead as drawn.
How I see the race panning out - T1 very slowly into stride and will have to come from out the back to win this. If it was a crowded race then that could bring the field back to T1.
T2 is our main danger, should quickly claim the rails and get to the bend level if not just ahead, but with T3 edging in as drawn that could cause some issues for T2.
T3 is a bang railer, so will be moving across from trap-rise and could crowd with T2. T5 could be a little way off these and has first run at six bends here tonight - nothing in the form to say she really wants this step-up in trip.
T6 has raced over six bends at Oxford but never here and is totally outgraded in this. What I see is us turning handy on the shoulder of T2 and using our middle pace to close and go on and win this race going away. Confident pick.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
T5 (Droopys Jiver) 21:46 Central Park @ SP
English debut tonight since arriving from Shelbourne, we have had two sprint trials and have faired well in both to show that at least we run the track well. Two bends is never going to suit though and this step up to four will be perfect for us to show our staying power, on display previously in Ireland.
How I see tonight's race going - T1 is a sprinter stepping back up in trip to four bends, may lead-up but finishing times suggest he doesn't stay this trip at full pace, so not for me.
T2 again another Irish recruit, won on debut in A2, time nothing special but did step up into A1 company latest and fared pretty well. I rate this runner as the main danger to us.
T3 ran above all expectations latest when recording a very quick time in defeat, and this Romford raider could come into it if reproducing that time but having been in A4 grade at Romford I don't see it.
T4 is a consistent local that always runs her race and could be prominent early in this, while T6 is in and out of form recently, and overall that form won't be good enough here.
So I see an ideal opportunity for us to trap well, look after ourselves at the first bend and then use our pace to close on the leaders before taking this up off the last to win going away.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
