Saturday Greyhounds Tips: Monmore’s the place to be on Saturday evening

We're off to Monmore Green in Wolverhampton for Saturday's Greyhound tips, expertly provided as per by our man Trap2Line.

The first of three selections runs at 18:31.

Today's Greyhound Odds

18:31 Monmore T6 (Santas Amigo) @ SP

Won very well on debut and overcame trouble in running to show exceptional middle pace to take the lead off the last and won going away. Tonight seems to be plotted up outside and can use the draw to make it 2/2.

How I see the race panning out - T5 trial suggests she will be slowly away  and moving middle, T4 a bang railer so will be turning left out of the traps, causing crowding on the run up; and T3 slowly into stride and will do well to avoid T4 coming across him on the run up.

Danger to us could be T2 going clear early but didn't seem to stay on 4 bend debut and is better known as a sprinter; while T1 was again slowly away on debut trial over course and distance.

We will overall be too strong granted a clear passage on the run up and 1st bend, and if we clear the trouble inside we will win and win well. Very confident, with lots going for us.

19:39 Monmore T4 (Ballymac Kolbe) @ SP

Puppy Derby runner-up and didn't really perform recently at Newcastle; prior to that had trialled in here and recorded a 28.26 over course and distance. For a pup that is quick, and can quickly use tonight's make up to lead and make all.

How I see the race going this evening - T1 slow into stride, railers will struggle to give this field a start and a beating. T2 should be drawn further out so will crowd up with T3 on the run up, T3 will turn left out the traps as that normally runs out of T1, and T5 (average grader) will be 5-6 lengths behind T4 in a clear run race.

T6 will go out the outsider at a big price, and all things point to us using our early pace to power clear on the run up and win this nicely by 5+ lengths.

21:04 Monmore T2 (Hi Brid) @ SP

We mix our races between 4 and 6 bends and tonight looking at the runners and make up of the race it is likely to suit our running style and granted a clear run we can pick these up late in proceedings

How I see the race being run, T1 and T3 can set the race up for us and be out our way on the run up. I cant see the outside runners getting into this, I feel confident we can stay on strongly to win this going away off the last bend
