Saturday Greyhounds Tips: Will it be a super Saturday for Trap2Line?

Our resident Greyhounds tipster Trap2Line (@Trap2line1) has three selections - from Central Park, Oxford and Perry Barr - deemed worthy of consideration for Saturday evening's action.

19:31 Oxford - T4 (Mad For Sterling) @ SP

Desperate not to make the Challenge Cup Final when third in our semi after not getting the clearest of runs. Tonight's field is a step down from the selection's recent assignments.

We may have to do things the hard way, but we have excellent nous and staying ability so I expect a good run.

The pace appears to come from T3, but that dog will probably head over to the rails early. Both T3 and T2 should also inject some pace into the race, while T6 is very slowly away but a strong stayer, so it's essential we get first run on her.

I see us turning in handier than usual and be challenging for the lead down the back for the second time. Given a clear run, we should land the spoils.

20:01 Central Park - T5 (Brigadir Brindle) @ SP

Returned last week with an ultra-impressive display, smashing through the 29-second barrier and recording a quick time off the front. The selection has always had the potential to do that.

It rates a tougher contest tonight, with plenty of quality in T3 and T6, but we have the class to come through this.

We can provide the pace along with T6. If we lead early then our chance only gets stronger, but I've got a feeling that T6 will have more early pace than us. Even so, if we can turn a close second, we can outstay him off the last to win going away.

21:02 Perry Barr - T2 (Shockwave Santee) @ SP

This one will appreciate the step back up to six bends and tonight looks like an excellent opportunity to open our account here at Perry Barr.

There's an abundance of four-bend runners in this with very little six-bend form to go off, whereas we are guaranteed to stay having recorded some excellent times at Sunderland and Towcester.

T3 should set the fractions but we can quickly gain the rails from T1 and get into a prominent position. If we are anywhere near the lead after the opening couple of bends, we could win this by lengths.

The danger is the raider in T5. That's a strong runner who would be dangerous turning in a pitch, but overall I like our chances.
